Hazurewaku no "Joutai Ijou Skill" de Saikyou ni Natta Ore ga Subete wo Juurin suru made

When loner Touka Mimori is summoned to another world alongside his classmates, he obtains the power to inflict status ailments, such as paralysis or poison, on his enemies. Unfortunately for him, skills of this nature are considered useless due to their low success rate, and Touka is thus assigned the title of E-rank hero. Things take a further turn for the worse when Vicius, the goddess who summoned the class, reveals that the lowest-ranked hero will be disposed of so that they do not hinder those with greater talent.

Banished to a notoriously dangerous area, Touka comes face-to-face with death after being cornered by a minotaur-like creature. In a desperate attempt to survive, he uses his supposedly worthless skill—only to quickly realize that it works almost every time. Armed with the ability to render the monsters standing in his way completely helpless, Touka resolves to track down the goddess that tossed him aside and exact his revenge.

I love this anime.

I love isekais where the MC is smart and makes sensible decisions with a clear ambitious goal in mind, and you know he's going to reach it because of his undying resolve.

If you are not going to like this, it' going to be because of animation or maybe you just hate isekais that are serious, then I suggest you go watch "that time I reincarnated into a vending machine".

Seriously, how do you not like this? How can you call this trash isekai? Personally, I would call trash all the mainstream high rated bullshit. Honestly, just sort animes from lowest evaluation ... first, because people on this site vote after watching 1 episode and deciding "this is not cool, I didn't see a naked underage girl in the first 10 minutes of the show, 3/10”.

Mixed Feelings

Man, I have no idea how to rate this. The show is your typical trash isekai with cartoonishly evil characters, a revenge plot, edgy protagonist, fanservice, etc. On top of that, it has heavy use of CGI which makes some scenes look like an only video game sometimes. By all intents and purposes I should have dropped it after an episode or 2.

But I kept watching, and didn't want to stop. I'm not sure if I was just starved for some power fantasy story, but it hit all the right notes. I mean, I really didn't like any part with the classmates. They had no ... personalities, and were very boring to watch. That was a small part though. The main character was a lot of fun to watch. Yeah, they are some edgy protagonist that contantly tells us he's not a good guy, but I couldn't always predict how things would go. The world and monsters are also not just generic fantasy, and have a nice spin to them.

I don't know, I look back on my list of shows, and I usually only give a '7' to something that keeps my attention the whole way through, and I can really recommend. This did keep my attention, but I'm not sure I'd recommend it. So let's just say it's at the top of my '6' rated shows. I do kinda hope it gets a season 2, lol.

Over use of very bad 3D, like I'm talking you bought a model and put a basic toon shader on it bad. Its so bad that it will distract you every time it happens. Every, single, time. And they do it a lot. Its not a stylistic suck type thing either it just sucks. Sorry to say. Which is odd because when its regularly animated it isn't bad at all. If there was a budget issue they should have at least shopped around for someone who can do better shader work cause good LORD is it bad.

Story is pretty much the usual bullied guy ... wants revenge type shit but the main character makes fewer idiotic decisions. The same powerfantasy type tropes are there but they honestly don't get a lot of time to use them due to how much was seemingly cut out of the story. There are a lot of jumps and skips and the flow is just not there for something cohesive. And they barely get anywhere in the story before it ends.

Just watch something else unless you're out of things to watch.
