Synopsis

After Mash Burnedead's clash with Magia Lupus, the secret about his powers is now out in the open. The short-lived celebration ends when the Bureau of Magic summons Mash before an audience of Divine Visionaries, who collectively decree Mash should reap the consequences and die. However, an evil shadow organization called Innocent Zero hijacks the inquiry to demand that Mash be kept alive.

Mash proves that he is capable of dealing with Innocent Zero, but the Divine Visionaries' verdict remains unchanged. Luckily, Mash finds unexpected allies in Divine Visionary Rayne Ames and Headmaster Wahlberg Baigan, and they successfully defer his execution until Innocent Zero is defeated. Mash is now allowed to live under one condition: he must be selected as the Divine Visionary candidate by the year's end.

I will point out that this season is not that comparing to season one because of several reasons which are not that big for others but for me it is ! one of the reasons is the lack of lit moments meaning satisfying moments ! don't get me wrong there are but not that many i hardly remember one or two from this season that stood out for me comparing from season one ! this season focuses more on other characters and indirectly connects to main character i mean this is great if you think about how the world of mashle is growing but for ...

Mixed Feelings
The story is very pointedly not over even as this anime adaptation coasts to a pausing point. The Divine Visionary exams haven't even properly wrapped yet, so how Mash finishes that remains to be seen. I already enjoyed Mashle, but this season was such a clear, immediate improvement on the first that I'd gladly take another season to see where else they could go. The fact that there's an obvious arc for a full story with an ending they can (eventually) reach makes an even stronger case to continue it with that objective. Here's hoping that Mashle doesn't spend too much time taking a break ...

Well-writtenWell-written
Mashle started better in the first 12 episodes than it ends after the other 12. It's a decent show that can go both ways later, but this half of the season feels lacking in pace, humor and anything to keep me occupied while watching the show.
Sure, there were some fights, the main secret got out of the box now and there was set up for the antagonist and the meta plot.
However it doesn't feel all that impressive at this point.
Mashle felt fun when MC was fooling around with his fake magic, but now they don't really bother anymore with that and it starts feeling one ...
