Mato Seihei no Slave

As his school days draw to an end, Yuuki Wakura worries about his future. While lamenting the prospect of living an ordinary life, he is suddenly drawn into the world of Mato: an alternate dimension filled with dangerous monsters called Shuuki. Over the years since the existence of Mato was first confirmed, incidents of people accidentally wandering into the other world have become commonplace. To combat the threat of the Shuuki and rescue victims like Yuuki, the all-female Demon Defense Force was established. Its members have been blessed with the power of "Peaches"—Mato fruits that grant supernatural abilities only to women.

Though Yuuki's situation is dire, he is saved in the nick of time by Kyouka Uzen, the chief of the Demon Defense Force's seventh unit. Despite Kyouka's impeccable skills in battle, she has long been held back by her Peach-granted ability, Slave. Slave allows Kyouka to put a living being under her control and draw out its strength, but the Shuuki that she had enslaved until now had all proven to be exceedingly weak.

When Yuuki and Kyouka become surrounded by a horde of Shuuki, Kyouka resorts to something she has never tried before: using her ability on a man. To her surprise, Yuuki's slave form is much more powerful than she could have imagined. Believing the young man to be the key to unlocking her true potential, Kyouka invites Yuuki to join the Demon Defense Force—but not as a regular member.

If you love old school harem anime you will absolutely love this one! Just when I thought they don't make 'em like this anymore, it turns out they sure do. From the rock OP all the way to the battle scenes and abstract ecchi comedy it had me full of nostalgia. The fantasy setting is also completely free of any video game mechanics or reincarnation style isekai!

Also yeah if it isn't obvious its femdom ALTHOUGH it is definitely not limited to that and gender roles are explored in different ways. The premise is basically that another world (Mato) appeared and edible peaches from that world ... granted superpowers to women (but not men). Women used these powers to fight off demons (called Shuuki) invading from Mato, and of course because this is an 18+ Harem anime their abilities happen to be fetish related half the time. Men meanwhile fell to a social status below women in a classic role reversal.

Most of what became of the Earth dimension is shown to us in flashbacks or brief scenes, while the majority of the story takes place in Mato as the protagonist (Yuuki) enlists in the Demon Defense Forces as commander Kyouka's slave warrior. The overall narrative is about Kyouka's rise to become Supreme Commander and change society for the better, so expect a lot of the conflict to revolve around the girls fighting for dominance in addition to the Shuuki killing action scenes.

Due to the amount of PLOT I would absolutely caution against watching this with anyone except for those already initiated into PLOT focused anime. Ecchi is definitely getting pretty crazy these days, especially if you watch the uncensored version as I did. Although they do technically stop barely short of fucking in typical Japanese fashion (lol). So its not quite hentai but its probably about the closest I've seen an Ecchi anime get before. Probably a great watch with your closest Otaku buddies nonetheless as its not gonna phase anyone familiar with this type of anime.

I almost took one star off because the world building is very rushed compared to the manga but that's an issue with literally all modern 12 episode seasonal anime. So it didn't feel fair and I instead gave it a 10, since for me it has earned a place among my favorites.

Mixed Feelings

This hentai disguised as an anime isn’t a masterpiece, but it’s actually kind of fun. I found it pretty shallow up until around the halfway point—I was thinking, “another empty world full of girls stripping for pure fan service”—but when the story started to take shape, I got interested. Sure, it didn’t develop a ton of stuff, but it was progress.

Now the positives: the protagonist’s transformations were really cool—I’d love to see what his transformation would look like if Tenka mounted on him. All the female characters are perfect—but that’s obvious, that’s the anime’s appeal, right?

Now the negatives: like I said, the world feels very ... shallow. And to be honest, I didn’t understand anything about how the ‘Mato’ works or why only women have powers—not to mention, I found the powers a bit generic, except maybe Kyouka’s and Sahara’s.

TENKA SUPREMACY AND AOBA 10/10—both of them.

Look, if you just love smut without a complex story, if you want to see gorgeous girls killing monsters, I recommend this anime for you. But if you want something deeper—you shouldn’t even try.

That said, I’ll be watching the second season.

Slavery has always been one of the ugliest ideas in human history. Taking a free human being and turning them into a slave is something deeply wrong, and some of the darkest periods in history were built on it.
This anime takes that horrible concept and treats it as something normal, even worse, something heroic. According to this anime, if you want to become a hero, you must become a slave. That alone makes the entire premise disgusting.
What makes this even more disappointing is that the author is the same writer behind "Akame ga Kill". Instead of depth, philosophy, and strong fights, he completely abandoned all ... of that and went full ecchi. The result is a very bad experience.

Story:
The story is extremely weak.
The main character, Yuuki, wants to become a hero. And how does he do that? By turning into a slave. Since when did slavery become connected to heroism? The plot is not interesting, not creative, and not meaningful.
Making slavery look normal, acceptable, or even cool is a terrible idea. The story fails both morally and narratively.
Rating: 1/10

Characters:
Let me be honest. If you are watching this anime for deep characters or philosophical writing, then you are a foolish person with all respect. The characters here are as shallow as possible. No depth, no growth, no personality. You forget most of them a week after watching.
Some characters are clearly copied from other anime but done worse.
For example, Yachiho is obviously inspired by Kurumi from "Date A Live": similar power, similar vibe, but a much worse version.
As for Yuuki, he barely has a personality. He is just a miserable boy who wants to be a hero by becoming a slave.
Rating: 2/10

Art, Animation, and Direction:
The art is very average and not memorable at all. There is also a strange issue where character faces keep changing. Eyes and mouths look different from episode to episode, sometimes even from scene to scene. It feels like the studio does not know how to consistently draw faces.
The fight scenes are terrible.
The animation and direction during battles are weak, the camera often focuses on the wrong angles, and the CGI is cheap and ugly. Nothing feels impactful or exciting.
One of the most annoying things is how the anime handles power-ups. Whenever a character is about to lose, suddenly they get a new power with the excuse of “this is my secret ability.” It feels lazy and insulting to the viewer’s intelligence.
Rating: 3/10

Ecchi:
Ironically, the ecchi is actually decent. Not great, but not bad either.
What is funny is that whenever ecchi scenes appear, the art quality suddenly improves a lot. It honestly feels like most of the budget went into boobs and asses.
Rating: 6/10

Comedy:
The comedy is average. Some jokes made me laugh, others did nothing. It is inconsistent, just like the rest of the anime.
Rating: 4/10

Final:
This anime proves that general anime taste is slowly declining. The fact that this series got popular enough to receive a second season so quickly is honestly depressing. People clearly liked it, which says more about the audience than the anime itself.
I personally will not continue next part, and I do not recommend it to anyone.
