Preliminary Spoiler

Only first four episodes of the first season were watchable, everything else is just cringy sentimentalism and penis jokes. This season really disappointed me,
I was hoping to see some kind of evolution, but this series really loves the status quo. Was Chika meant to be funny? Every one of her appearances made me want to drop this idiotic show.
Don't be fooled, guys. References to other media were the only things that made this anime stand out among the others all season (which was really bad).
I'll give it a 3 because production was decent and the opening is catchy.

Mixed Feelings
This is such a good anime and the first season was a blast even the second season started with wonderfully. But lately I was so disappointed going into the last 4 5 episodes. I mean they were exceptionally good episodes but it was all about friendship or sometimes just to make you laugh or the emotional episode of Ishigami. But there were no or hardly any episodes related to Miyuki and Kaguya. Production wise it was worst. If all these episodes were on the beginning side it would still be fine but it had the worst possible ending. If I wanted to watch something about ...

EDIT: This is an older review and my reviewing skills were pretty meh back then so take this with a grain of salt

Kaguya-sama: Love is War is my currently my favorite romcom anime, and I think I have a good reason to like it.

Story-8: The story is mostly about Kaguya and Shirogane trying to get the other confess their love and usually get into crazy antics. A very unique sort of story

Art-7:The Art's pretty solid and has very good detail on the eyes. I really like the character design as well.

Sound-7: Really the only part where Love is War lacks in. The opening's pretty funky ...

Okay, so this is my first review, I never wanted to write reviews on anime, but this masterpiece is an exception. I have been reading the manga of love is war, but the anime still delivers. The first opening was spicy, but the second opening is more like-able, they even kept the same singer on the first opening.

This piece is really relatable to me, I have been waiting for Miko Iino's debut, because I can somewhat appreciate her hard work and I can relate on how scared she is towards crowds. Crowds is really not my thing, ever since i screwed up when I was ...

As you can see from my score, this shows absolutely deserved a 10/10. One of many recommendation from my sister, this series managed to stay fresh and the gag are original. There aren't any negative aspect that I can think of. The student council still have some decent chemistry.

However, the highlight of this season is Shinomiya x Shirogane moment. Since this season is underwhelming due to COVID-19 postponing some major known shows(Such as, Re:Zero, SAO and Oregairu), Kaguya-Sama should be under everybody radar.

Animation: 10/10
Story: 10/10
Character: 10/10

Mini-rant: The way how A1 Pictures are handling Kaguya-Sama, is making me jealous. Other series in their portfolio don't ...

With its second season, the show just gets better. Makes me laugh, cry and yearn for more all at the same time. Heavy Kaguya x Shirogane shipper here. One of my all time favourite shows.

So far I am loving how the progression of the story is going (Ep4) and Episode 3 was just amazing haha. I can see how the characters are slowly developing and getting closer to eachother and its such an enjoyable show to watch.

Will love to see more and hopefully it stays with the manga and eventually completes it and not gives up the story halfway. This is gold.

Love is war season 2 is the saviour of the spring 2020 anime season undeniably. This anime is like Moses that parted the red sea of despair and disappointment of the spring 2020 anime. The spring 2020 anime season was supposed to be filled with amazing anime and sequels that would entertain and hype us up amidst the unforeseen virus that has befallen on humanity out of nowhere. But with the suddenly lockdown in Japan , many anime were postponed to the upcoming season. Many shows were postponed left and right and to be honest , I thought that the spring 2020 anime roster will be ...

Ok so wtf was studio A-1 Pictures's exe were thinking when they decided to come up with a sequel of this anime, given that this simple just ended in a opening ending where nether Kaguya nor Miyuke had confess their love for each other and IMAO, that last episode's ending was just too too lame to say the least....so let's get down to brass tax:

Story- Mediocre 5: The first one was just A "OK" but as somebody decides to make a sequel of this anime, well, from there it was just mediocre and IMAO, there was just no fun in it anymore.....When nothing has change, ...

I would like to preface this review by saying that this type of show, essentially a Rom-com is usually not on my list of favorite genres. This show is an exception for me.

Kaguya sama has enjoyed major success and has quickly garnered a fan base for it's quirky, over the top humor. What other people see in this show that makes it rated close to a 9,I can't tell you. But, i will say that this is a very enjoyable show.

It takes everything from season one and dials it up a little bit. The show finally has a sense of progression and stakes. The ...

I've tried to find a weakness in this anime but there is none. It's a review of S1+ what is released of S2 so far.

Story 10/10 : What can i say? When you got a romcom that is actually romance and comedy in a perfect balance and that is excellent as a romance and as a comedy, you can only yield to this perfection. I've read and watch a LOT of romcom and that's just the only one that managed to make me laugh out loud (and not just snorting air) and being in bliss infront of such a sweet and NOT frustrating romance.

Art 10/10 ...

Overall, another solid season. I don't think it was as good as the first season, but it has some really great moments. I think a large part of why it wasn't as good was because there was no important climax in Miyuki and Kaguya's relationship like the first season. Although some could argue that something like that wasn't needed because we had Ishigami's arc as the main focus in the last few episodes, which I really enjoyed, I still feel like the the season petered out. There isn't as much fuel or drive behind Miyuki and Kaguya's conflict as there was at the end of ...

Well this is one of my favorite anime to relax when I have to eat a snack. There are people upset because the anime there is no love or advance.

That is the mistake, this anime should not be taken seriously. There is an attraction between kaguya and shirogane, but it is more comedy with romantic overtones than anything else.

In fact, i doubt that this type of manipulation can be considered love. And if it does, Love advances at the speed of a turtle. This happens because there are no previous love experiences in their lives, they dont know what it is.
Maybe because they ...

I've always thought of Kaguya-sama as a mediocre happy show offering nothing more than comedies just for laugh. Not until I watched the second season where my entire perspective of the series changed dramatically. Kaguya-sama wa Kokurasetai?: Tensai-tachi no Renai Zunousen, or the second season of Kaguya-sama offers more than just comedies.

The second season of Kaguya-sama offers more aspects of High school. Which of course obviously include depression and tiresome. Now people might be thinking, "won't that just ruin the reputation of the show as a comedy high school?". I think otherwise. And apparently a lot of people agrees with me, judging by the ...

It's a season sequel, so it's pretty great.

Honestly, in my opinion, the first season was alright. I didn't feel like it stood out too much, it was just another seasonal anime I would watch.

However, the second season is really something different. From the first episode, there was something just off compared to the first season. In my eyes, there was an upgrade all of a sudden. It's possible it was just Hayasaka's arc. It's possible the studio just improved on the series. Something felt different, and I knew it was a change for the better.

Really enjoying the second season so far! It's quirky, funny, it ...

It's not even funny.

“Practice makes perfect!”

When hearing that quote for the first time, one would feel motivated. As for the second time, one would probably feel motivated. As for the third time and so on, one would probably not feel motivated- though some exception here and then, as someone like “Ishigami” would probably deny it from the first hearing, or nevermind.

“Kaguya Sama Season 2” suffers the second-season-of-comedy-anime syndrome. Or in simple terms: “The overused/repetitive jokes from the first season or the unnecessary arrival of serious tone”. Or in Anime terms: The repetitive humor of nose-bleeding in Baka to Test to Shoukanjuu Ni!, or the pointless drama of ...

Watched 8 episodes so far Have to say it lacks the kicks from the 1st season. Same old jokes in some cases over and over.

Story: 6/10
Story really is dragging the momentum down as each episode airs.

Character: 10/10
But only redeeming thing going for it is its characters. Chika Fujiwara is just amazing as each episode passes. Her and Yū Ishigami's interactions are PURE GOLD and hilarious. Missing Kaguya Shinomiya's cold looks very much like shes completely changed from the core. Miyuki Shirogane is as he was in the first season and a bit expressive.

Sound: 2/10
Sound is horrific and please someone change that narrator. His ...

Master piece. the only way to describe this show.
It's just so great. the comedy, the story, the romance, cute girls, awesome characters. all in this show.
Kaguya-sama, second season in particular, is the most awesome adaptation. The anime is hilarious with good story progression. not to mention, all the characters are like able with back stories. The opening and the ending are really good to listen.
Every episode has 3-4 part so that you will never get bored. The voice acting is also exceptional. the arcs are really fun to watch. just overall an awesome show. 100% recommended.
This anime's characters, as I mentioned are ...

Who gave this show the fucking right?

I watched the dub of this show, which, for those who don't know, is almost a different show in terms of its comedy. Now, it's not like the ever-popular Ghost Stories dub in how much it alters the characters and plot, but it is comparable in that it made me laugh my absolute ass off. The narrator is the main change, and is fucking hysterical; Ian Sinclair is often joked about as probably having done cocaine before recording his lines. And as someone who generally doesn't laugh at shows much beyond a chuckle or a nose exhale, the fact ...

If you're here it means you already watched the first season or read the manga. If not then what are you waiting for?

Just a short review since there is nothing special to add. If you love seeing Kaguya's face then you'll be served. The range of Kaguya's emotions keeps on growing and I couldn't be happier. These first few episodes were heavily Kaguya focused and her character developed even more. She's more in tune with the feelings and emotions. I can see the climax coming soon.

The rest of the crew is still as funny and energetic as before. And I can even see a hint ...
