Synopsis

Tightly clutching his Gibson guitar, Mafuyu Satou steps out of his dark apartment to begin another day of his high school life. While taking a nap in a quiet spot on the gymnasium staircase, he has a chance encounter with fellow student Ritsuka Uenoyama, who berates him for letting his guitar's strings rust and break. Noticing Uenoyama's knowledge of the instrument, Satou pleads for him to fix it and to teach him how to play. Uenoyama eventually agrees and invites him to sit in on a jam session with his two band mates: bassist Haruki Nakayama and drummer Akihiko Kaji.

Satou's voice is strikingly beautiful, filling Uenoyama with the determination to make Satou the lead singer of the band. Though reticent at first, Satou takes the offer after an emotional meeting with an old friend. With the support of his new friends, Satou must not only learn how to play guitar, but also come to terms with the mysterious circumstances that led him to be its owner.

This anime will leave you intrigued, sad, and giddy all at the same time. The characters were interesting, and although it's a very short series, they definitely shined in their own ways. The introductions and flashbacks were smooth, and the love and care that was put into the music and jam session scenes were very impressive. Overall, the story is a short and emotional one, worth giving a watch. There is one reason I gave this series an 8 instead of a 9 or 10. There were certian relationships that I felt developed beautifully, but they were just missing that extra little push (Which may ...

Mixed Feelings
its a cute warm anime with slight tensions.
if your looking for a cute yaoi this is defintly one to watch with a convincing relationship and chemestry between the two male leads.

for the music/ band part of the anime is were it kind of lags, especially the music department.
the finale song is worth all the build up given to it and is a great addition to your average play list.

the problem is beyond that their is a sever lack of music besides a few vague chords and drumming. and the 'La's.' By the end of it i was ready to murder someone if i heard one ...

So incredibly boring. Don't listen to anyone who tells you that this is a realistic portrayal of a same sex relationship because it is not. The characters are paper-thin and don't deserve to exist in a work that is longer than an episode. The two main characters are tropes and they will never surprise you. The music takes a backseat to the terrible drama. The pacing is tedious. Plot was predictable. Animation was alright but you can't appreciate it when everything else about the show is disappointing. The side characters and their relationship is just almost interesting but falls flat. Don't watch if you're over ...
