I came in with certain expectations regarding this Anime. And those expectations were not met. But instead, my expectations were exceeded! This show turned out to be wholesome, hilarious, and emotional! Each of the girls have their own unique and interesting backgrounds and backstories! The sometimes subtle nuggets of their past sprinkled throughout the show really leaves you wanting more. Not to mention, the characters that we grow

This anime will leave you intrigued, sad, and giddy all at the same time. The characters were interesting, and although it's a very short series, they definitely shined in their own ways. The introductions and flashbacks were smooth, and the love and care that was put into the music and jam session scenes were very impressive. Hunter X Hunter is definitely an anime that will be heard a lot when someone first gets into anime. Should you watch it? That's up to you to decide. I can only provide my opinion on the anime, nothing more, nothing less. What's my opinion? Hunter X Hunter is an overhyped chore of an anime to get through. I mean, at times, I literally felt dread starting an episode. Almost like it was homework or something. The sad thing is, Hunter X Hunter is quite enjoyable in the beginning. This anime was alright, mediocre at best. This certain anime relies heavily on philosophy to carry it. At least that's my guess due to the bland story that I had to sit and recall just to remember. Lain's parent's were terribly boring and shallow, the only interesting thing about them is the father's passion for tech. The antagonist is one of the worst I've ever seen. This Anime shined in its character interactions, and comedy surprisingly. The fight scenes were also pretty decent with a few gems sprinkled here or there. The major problem I have with this anime is its lost potential. Itadori punches his way through enemies with help from Sukuna rarely.
