What you’ll first notice is the 3D animation. Both films use this style, and if you’re worried about it; just perish the thought. As most anime use 2D animation, it might seem new and alienating but you’ll get used to it. Both films have a lot of similarities. There’s the conflict with the alternate universe and the protagonist’s other self is his companion. The plot also revolves around twisting fate in order to be with the one they love. With Ashita Sekai ga Owaru toshitemo, it focuses more on the sci-fi aspect most especially on the second half. Of course, I wouldn’t miss out the  read more

Protagonists are using the virtual world to meet/help a person who's unavailable in the real world. Their quests both have plenty of adventures, heartwarming and heartbreaking moments. The overall tone is different though: Null Peta leans towards childish comedy at least in its first half, Hello World is more dramatic/realistic.

Similarity with parallel worlds and the relationship between characters that do not belong to the same world.

The opening in each is shock me out, it is too good. Colorful show many mysteries and fade the most normal life that we alway live but didnt regconise, while hello world show a most modern world in the future with many confusing things BUT these gave me the same vibe to watch. Both is good

Okay to be short I'm not explaining long... So, the Elfen Lied is an underrated anime that it just blowed-up in recent years & the same with the movie Hello World. The thing is the story lines are far different from one another but, they have the similar point of sense in them. I find the both stories portrays a bond between two individuals fighting for each other & in their won discovered ways. These two animes might feel uncomfortable & unenojoyable at the start but they become much exciting as you watch so, I recommend to try them & watch with patience.

-the protagonists take an interest in the girls and do their best to save them -the relationship between the protagonists are similar -There are secrets in the worlds of both movies -the endings are a bit confusing in both movies, but good endings - they handle different but unique plot and are interesting until the end

Here are two of the movies that made me theorize on explanations the most. - Both works are centered on a main couple who are separated by the adversities of the timeline and whose "destiny" initially involves distance. Hello World, however, spends more time than Uchiage Hanabi developing the couple's relationship. - Consequently, both works present similar messages about the power that each person's choices have and the act of fighting against destiny. In this sense, the romance is treated according to very passionate representations, with a frequent motto "fighting against all obstacles to be with those you love". - Both Uchiage Hanabi and Hello World present a  read more

Main protagonist have got an access to another timespace via quantum device and met his analog there trying to save someone from his past.

They share a similar premise of someone trying to research time travel to alter a sequence of events, and the system trying to stop him from doing so, all in order to save his lady love. Steins;Gate had a wacky cast of characters that were missing from Hello World and a lot more focus on the Sci-Fi elements that served it well. While Hello World has a lighter tone and better visuals.

Both films deal with journies through multiple timelines with the goal of saving ones life, with romance included. They also both start off fairly understandable before becoming more complex/confusing later on
