The film's story begins when Arata inadvertently touches "Hermes Apocrypha," Lilith's Grimoire. Suddenly, he is enveloped by a bright white light, and a girl appears before him. She calls herself Lilim, and treats both Arata and Lilith as her parents. At the same time she appears, something changes in the world. The forbidden Eternal Library awakens. In the Library is sealed the ultimate culmination of Alchemy, the White Demon Lord. The White Demon Lord plots to eliminate Arata and the Trinity Seven to usurp the position of Demon Lord. Bristling with untold power, the White Demon Lord attacks Arata, and triggers a desperate crisis where Arata and the Trinity Seven must save the world in this last battle.
To think I watched this on Raw... manage to captures every possible between the novel...
It does progress... what truly lacking is it's quite a short...
Since Arata's Form Paladin is beneath and surpassed the limit of the Astral Trinity itself...
The Story starts... when Lilith's Grimoire awakens called the Hermes Grimoire.. Archive.. The True goals of the White Demon Lord plots to dominate Arata and the Trinity Seven to enlightment his position as the Demon Lord Candidate. Artillary with invoking thema and untold power, the showdown between the White Demon Lord and limits Arata, and triggers a desperate crisis where Arata and the Trinity Seven must never
fall into big abyss as the White Demon Lord ruled the world in this last divergence..
The Trinity combines their power in order to protect their land..
The Battle Last long as the White Demon Lord... gets defeat in a forsaken sudden battle..
A new Grimoire appears on both Lilith and Arata named Lilium so it's possible and treating them as their own current daughter...
Lust Trinity/ Last Trinity... is another Arata's Ideal form which is much weaker version of Astral Trinity...
So to say that... The Movie definitely... improvise the whole aspects and choppy animation since Season 1 ... Of course the action and harem itself are very balance...
Hopefully to wait the Subs and Rewatch it all over again... :D
Overall, this movie objectively is between 6-8, depending on how much of a Trinity Seven fan you are.
Trinity Seven: Eternity Library to Alchemic Girl is the new original movie that spans a rather short 55 minutes. In that time, you're given what's pretty much standard: fan service, cute girls, and sailing boats. This time around, the story focuses on Arata and Lillith (not best girl, by the way).
With a relatively standard setting, standard art and characters, what really makes this better for me is that the soundtrack ended out pretty well. Also cute girls doesn't ever hurt (thanks KyoAni).
In the end, this movie is
really only worth watching if you're a huge fan of Trinity Seven or you just really like the fan service/cute girls involved in the show.
I had actually pretty high hopes for this movie because i really liked the anime. But i never thought i would be so dissapointed.
This movie is literally all over the place, the story telling is really vague and rushed so you have no idea what the hell is going on. Some antagonists help them but little do we know why. They try to add some random sad moments into the movie that didn't make sense at all. 50% of the movie is fanservice (nothing against fan service but still!)
I think they could've made way more out of this movie and don't get me
wrong i really do love the anime, but this is just the definition of poor story writing and a rushed ending.
I would hate to rant on this movie any longer so here are some good points.
Art was good
Sound was good
Yui best girl
There is a too long, didn't read right at the bottom. Some minor spoilers written in character.
Yes, I am biased. Trinity Seven is one of my top 5 favourite series. I have read the manga (to the latest translations) and seen the anime.
It features a different character altogether. The concept is there, but man, it's way too short. 55 minutes is a slap in a face when it's called a movie. The first 5 minutes are a recap, the credits run for like 4 minutes and the ending part half a minute. The ending implies there's more to come, so I won't touch
on it much. Read the manga if you want to know what's probably coming next. Anyway, story is same old same old. Pretty predictable. I'd say 30% of the whole "movie" is the fight scene, which is really short. Then again, I've never read this part of the story before in the manga, so I have no idea where the source is from.
The anime was somewhat ok, but that was kind of expected, given the manga is still young (only 60 something chapters so far, translated) but they stepped it up in the movie. The art style similarly resembles KyoAni except the eyes. Everything flows really smoothly, the transitions from serious to relaxing is greatly appreciated. Nothing to complain here.
Hm, I did not expect that soundtracks like what they chose would fit in really well. The background music when connecting to their respective archives also make it seem all huzzah and epic. Excellent choices by the animators.
Continuation in each person's behaviour. The MC could have been lewder, IMO. Regarding the new character, the character is portaryed and designed according to their background, so no issues there. Voice on point, state of mind on point.
SPOILERS: The WDL could have had more backstory to him but that's fine I guess. Hopefully we learn more in the coming chapters, scenes and movies.
Very little action scenes, that's all I bitch about. I mean, if you are following Trinity Seven, you would definitely enjoy this. For you newcomers, who doesn't like a nice supernatural ecchi harem with a solid story (read the manga), girls for all kinds of tastes and an MC with some actual balls?
I think this is quite high but then again I'm super biased. I am still salty about the length and lack of depth to the story. It definitely did not live up to it's hype, but at least we know there's more to come and it's not dying out like Keijoo (FeelsFuckingBadMan)
Ecchi harem movie with a simple plot and short screen time. Fanservice and nostalgia galore. If you've never heard of Trinity Seven, the first five minutes has you covered. Good choice if you don't know what to watch while you eat or if you're just entering the beautiful world of "ecchi harem".
