Puchi Pri*Yucie

Both Princess Tutu and Petite Princess Yucie are magical girl shows, that will appeal to many people, even those who dislike said genre. They have great emotional stories, interesting characters, and wonderful production values. These are the "best of the best" in regards to magical girl shows. They are similar in tone, atmposhere, and style. And although the plots are vastly different, I think fans of one series would like the other as well.  

Both have large casts of incredibly fleshed out and deep characters that anyone can relate to. Give it enough time and you'll fall in love with each and every single one of them. Some other similarities are their expressive animation, themes of positivity and overcoming personal struggles, and a whimsical nature that's sure to have you fully immersed. 

Both Aria and Puchi Puri Yuushi are cute and heartwarming shows about friendship. Both focus on a group of girls at a similar age who explore their world and make precious memories. The girls in Puchi Puri Yuushi are actually older than those in Aria, but they haven't aged since they were ten and so look younger. Each girl has a non-human companion: a cat in Aria and a steward in Puchi Puri Yuushi. There is romance in both shows, but this is more prominent in Puchi Puri Yuushi. The romance aspects are cute and do not create much drama. There is little drama overall in both shows, though there is a bit more in Puchi Puri Yuushi. Both shows also have supernatural elements and comedy. One big difference between the two is that Puchi Puri Yuushi has a plot, while Aria does not. Both are cute shows in which the main characters (all girls) start as rivals but become friends. The girls often work together at their jobs, and the characters' fathers are also important to the shows. They both have comedy, although GochiUsa has much more. Instead Puchi Puri Yuushi has romance and a plot. 

At its core, it's hard not to see Petite Princess Yucie as perhaps the prototype for Little Witch Academia. Both series are considerably lighter, more family-friendly fare for the studios they're made by, and feature a main group of young girls at an academy whose daily tasks often turn into adventures. Yucie and Akko are both clumsy but have strong hearts. Male characters also play small but plot-important roles in both series. Anyone who enjoyed one is likely to enjoy the other. 

Jewelpet Twinkle offers another variety of magical girls who are mastering magic in upbeat, fantastical worlds before digging deeper into its plot and heavier tones slowly over time. Like Yucie, Akari constantly struggles with mastering her abilities as a magician to win the Jewel Star Grand Prix while maintaining a sunny disposition constantly despite her mistakes. Both girls gain more confidence in their abilities around a bright ensemble of characters over time and find a sense of belonging in both academies. While Jewelpet Twinkle may lead some to think its core nature is saccharine even Twinkle can surprise people with its portrayal of issues involving children and strong character development.  read more 

Father-daughter theme. 

Both shows feature a group of girls enrolled in a special academy in order to learn special skills needed for some higher goal 

-The story is in fantasy world setting -both protagonist is young girl that have their ambition ,Erin to be dragontamer and Yucie to be Platinum princess -Both working to achieve their goal -Have love story that kinda similar -Have some tragic element in it 

-Both girls are caring and nonjudgmental heroine, who seeks other solutions to problems other than hate and yelling. -Both take place in a european premodern setting -Both involve a potential romance with royalty -Both have enemies turned into allies. -Both leave you with a warm fluffy feeling. 

These magical girl shows share a heavy focus on friendship and sisterhood along with some romance. Finding the princess (who must also be a warrior) and protecting her are important in both; instances of time travel/alteration can be found in both. 

Both are extremely sad animes who will make you cry Both stories are about achieving your dreams. Both contain romance and Comedy Both are recommended at the highest. :D 

At first in the series you won't be able to see the similarities in the show. Allthough the shows are pretty much the same when it comes later in the Shows.. Both are Shoujo animes as they both contain much Romance.. Allthough Puchi Puri Yuushi is a mahou shoujo (Magical Girl) anime it does contain content that D.N.Angel fans would enjoy and the other way around.. Both Include * Romance * Magic * Simillar Feeling to them both. Fans of one will Surely enjoy the other.. Never mind the slow start and Watch the full versions.. They get better.. 

Similar concepts- They both start as candidates and in order to become princesses they must find and do certain things. Thay are also both magical animes. 

Romance, friendship, magic and a touch of comedy are a few of the themes these two series share. The journey of a young girl coming of age and becoming a young lady is told wonderfully in both. Set in a fantasy world with the premise of attending an academy of sorts to train and compete to be the ruler of their respective worlds. Portraying their adventures and growth alongside the friends they make along the way, while trying to unravel the mysteries around them. The way the main heroine and cast is portrayed in both series is strikingly similar. If you're a fan of one then you will surely enjoy the other. Nanatsuiro Drops and Puchi Puri Yuushi both have cute, 'fluffy' settings with magic as a theme. They also both focus on romance, although the romance is more prevalent in Nanatsuiro Drops. Both of the main characters in these series have to deal with "rivals" who are sometimes viewed by the main character as friends and overcome emotional struggles as well as physical ones. 

Puchi Puri Yuushi/Petite Princess Yucie and Sugar Sugar Rune Similarities: -Both have a spunky heroine -Involve magic, and fantasy elements like unicorns, dragons and fairies -Both about young girls wanting to become royalty, with tests and tasks against other girls (Yucie is actually 17.. but looks like a 10 year old so this is a little different) -Friends are close and rivals -In both the characters have to collect magic items to become Princess/Queen, in Yucie they collect fragments of a magical tiara and in Sugar Sugar Rune they collect crystal hearts -Romance Overall they are both cute shows with similar elements, if you like one you will probably like the other.  read more 

These two shows focus on the element of queen candidates, the only difference is that The good witch of the north has more romance while Puchi Puri Yuushi is a bit more childish, and I would recommend it more to children. While The good witch of the west, in my personal opinion is better, the only downfall is that it is more rushed then PPY.  

Magical girl series that are similarly cute, don't involve fighting (as a major activity, in Sakurar's case), and are very idealistic. They create engrossing plots and loveable characters without straying from the essence of their genre.
