Diabolik Lovers More,Blood

The only thing I have to say is...this is so ass. Like, seriously, the way they treat her like a piece of meat and how she's such a weakling is a disgrace to womenkind. The one with the hat ( yes I didn't even bother remembering their names) straight up calls her a b*itch??? Crazy bruh. Like actually what possessed them to make this into an anime. The plotline is actually stupid. Each episode is the same thing, someone grabs her, harasses her, drinks her blood, acts like a jerk, repeat. The girl cant even eat or take a shower in peace. Why would anyone ... romanticize this?? Beyond me.

I have no idea why I watched this anime to the end as it was very infuriating.

As a girl, I find the way yui was treated very degrading. The new brothers are nicer but the still treat her badly to some extent. There is no snippet of affection towards this poor girl even though they all claim her to belong to them. Not to mention she is completely and utterly useless, not being able to speak up for herself. It is disgusting how bad this anime is and the fact that it is aimed towards female viewers.

The brothers from both families are not consistent ... at all. The brothers in the first family are concerned as to where she is but do nothing to retrieve her. The two main guys actually claim that she is theirs while they both suck her blood. I mean where is the possessiveness? The say one thing but their actions depict something else. If I claimed something as mine I wouldn't let other people touch them but oh no, not with this anime it's like a fricken party all up on yui's bod. Just take your share, we don't care! Even though Ayato claims that she is his alone.

There are no words to describe how bad this anime was in terms of plot and characterisation. Not to mention no affection what so ever was shown toward her throughout the 12 episodes which I watched all of, praying that it would get better, it didn't. The first season of this was a little better in comparison to this but it was still a drink fest in regards to how they treated yui but at least they showed some ounce of affection toward her.

I didn't enjoy the story very much because it has almost no development.

The art is pretty, but nothing outstanding.

It is pretty decent.

The characters
... The main heroine has no personality. And the rest of the characters aren't too complex either. I can't get attached to none of them.

Enjoyment
I enjoyed certained parts of the series, but it is very repetitive and you can get bored easily.

Overall
If you are into anime with handsome and dominant vampires give it a go, especially it has only 12 episodes who are approximately 8-9 minutes long. But don't get to excited because it can get pretty boring.

I'm going to to take pride in being one of the only positive reviewers on this site. Season 2 MASSIVELY improves the story and characters. We are given character development for most (if not all) the sakamakis, which we really should've been given in season 1 but we get it here instead. Season 2 is amazing, the soundtrack and story especially as we are given an actual plot to follow and enjoy. If you liked season 1, your guaranteed to like season 2. If you didn't like season 1 it could go two ways, Firstly, you actually like this season. Or secondly, you still ... don't like it.

Personally, I really enjoyed season 2 and have rewatched it again and again. I actually began to like the protagonist by season 2 as it seems she acquires the ability to think and have feelings other than shock,fright and ditziness.

What's the best way to put Diabolik Lovers More;Blood......"second verse, same as the first" comes to mind.

Diabolik Lovers is in one of the forefronts as some of the worst reverse harem examples in recent anime history, what with it's blank slate idiot main female protagonist, abusive harem members and little content to make us care about anything or anyone in the anime....so HOW DID IT GET A SECOND SEASON, that is merely beyond LA to think how this second season came to be but like LA said about this second season being "second verse, same as the first" is VERY prevalent as LA watched this ... second season. Why?...well...

These "new" characters are nothing but carbon copies of the original abusive cast with the differing goal in which isn't that much of a change from the first season at all of these new 4 vampires "aren't gonna abuse"....ummmmm ohh right Yui, in which they do what any vampire do, wanting to suck Yui's blood in a sexually abusive manner with their expected sob backstories to get us to "like" them and failing because...well the new vampire in question is STILL ABUSING YUI.

Ohh and here's the carbon copy breakdown...
*Ruki Mukami = Shu Sakamaki - in the sense they do the least harm to Yui but their ulterior motives and Yui cause them to lash out at Yui.
*Kou Mukami = Reiji Sakamaki - the second sons to their respective families, they are both manipulative and sadistic in the sense, though Reiji shows his sadism right there and there, Kou hides it.
*Yuuma Mukami = Laito Sakamaki - in the respect of the suave asshole type, it's just that Yuuma calls Yui a sow instead of a bitch...so that different...right?.
*Azusa Mukami = Kanato Sakamaki - in the respect of the shy creepy loner vampires and the youngest of their families bunch, just that Kanato is sadistic, Azusa is masochist...

And no if your wondering...LA didn't like or had ANY sympathy for ANY of these characters...mainly Ruki because even though they have expected horrible backstories...Ruki still initiated the plan to kidnap and blood-sucking abuse Yui until Ruki's plan was completed all for his own selfish reasons and NOT taking into account to how Yui feels about all this and from that not even Yui is spared due to her blank slate female main protagonist and being a general idiot during most situations to the point that some of the Sakamaki vampires had more common sense when it came to the plot than she did!.

So what's worse?...the 4 kidnapper "kind" yet borderline abusive vampires or the 5 or 6 abusive vampires?...well that in itself is splitting hairs and something LA "thought" would do something different with these new vampires and NOPE, there's no difference between these 10 vampires, it's the equivalent of getting into a fight with a choice between an axe wielding psycho and a knife wielding maniac, whatever the case or semantics, your gonna get hurt and boy did LA get angry at this season very much the same way as the first season of Diabolik Lovers did to LA probably even worse actually.

You know what's worse?, Yui had MANY opportunities to go back to the Sakamaki's family or hell from the first season...just run away from these abusive vampires...SIMPLE. AS. THAT, but again like LA said above, what's the point of that, this merely shows Yui has quick Stockholm Syndrome (no seriously...you get kidnapped and almost instantly warms up to your kidnappers...even though they want to suck your blood any chance they get) and to hit the nail in this coffin the four new vampires as "competition" to the Sakamaki's vampires doesn't even count as competition, quite obviously because the Sakamaki vampires DON'T EVEN CARE IF THEIR "BLOOD A LA YUI" IS GONE AND WAS KIDNAPPED, Yui is that much of waste of space to them even though she's your main blood supply...the fucking IDIOTS. What's perplexing is that only after they get her back and add stupidity to this mess is that the Sakamaki vampires saw and INTERACTED with Yui during school and they didn't get her back and THEY WANTED YUI BACK BY THE WAY WHAT THE FUCK?...DUMBASSES and stupid writing, but that isn't saying much as the competition of the Mukami vampires aren't much better on the account of the blood sucking abuse...as LA said...would you want to fight off a knife wielding maniac or an axe-wielding psycho?

LA didn't really talk about plot for this second season and it's kinda obvious why. The plot is essentially Yui getting kidnapped by the Mukami vampire family...blood sucking abuse ensues and something about one of the Mukami vampires wanting to be Adam to Yui's Eve but that plotline is mentioned in passing and doesn't go into much detail of what will even happen once one of the Mukami vampires turns into him and to add salt to the wound to this little plotline, the culmination of Yui's blood and Mukami vampires wanting to be Adam, the conflict between the Mukami and Sakamaki vampires "resolving" to the newer threat of the Founder vampires ends in a god damn cliffhanger FUCK THAT!. Even for an anime short SECOND season it has pitiful to even LESS amount of material from it's first season and that's horrible in perspective this is suppose to be a second season.

Diabolik Lovers More;Blood is a carbon copied first season with the same goal (of sucking Yui's blood) under the guise that these 4 new vampires might give us anything new or change for the better and it just doesn't and THAT just clearly shows that More;Blood is the same as the first season heck even worse as More;Blood didn't or doesn't care to better itself or learn from it's predecessors and LA knows LA will get the obvious, it's based on an otome game so leave it alone! or what did you expect from this? To that LA says that, LA would have easily say it's the second season...LA kinda expect some change or movement in a story no matter how horrible it's first season was and for a second season this went NOWHERE.

Was there ANYTHING LA liked from this second season?, it's what the first season did quite well as well and that was it's animation done by Zexcs mainly it's character designs are soo solid and detailed with Yui being a highlight of the animation, the background is typical dark gothic architecture from it's first season but that is about it. But animation alone doesn't make an anime good, the plot NEEDS to pulls it's weight and quite obviously...More;Blood does not PERIOD.

Diabolik Lovers More;Blood is nothing but another failed attempt at trying to make the reverse harem genre marketable in making not 6 but now TEN abusive vampires...with all these horribly executed sob backstories to make us care about ANY of these abusive vampires and Yui still being the blank slate idiot she still and forever will be and an ass of a finale that was trying to culminate all it's loose plot points into a fucking cliffhanger ending really sealed More;Blood's fate at being worse than it's first season because at the VERY least the first season resolved it's main conflict...More;Blood fucking did not.

Want a better reverse harem anime?...just watch Kamigami no Asobi...

Ok, idc if ppl judge me on this, but personally for me, it was a pretty good anime !! I do not regret watching it !!
I was shocked to see such low rating, but what I'd say is, for those who haven't watched the anime, just give it a shot......
Maybe you will end up liking it !!

The best part of the all anime was the opening. The art style is good but reminds me of one yaoi anime. Probably they must called the second season "More vampires" instead of "More blood". And the epic question: Why there is only one female character!? I know that the genre is harem but that's pretty much. For a harem this will be pretty good but no. Just no.
The author put four other vampires (or demi-vampires) so we have more fanservice. I don't even know why I watched the second season. It was really big mistake.
Why Yui keep living in a house full of psychopaths? ... Anyone will find a way to escape. But no, our main heroine thinks that the vampires will change. Why are you so naive!? They treat you like a miserable stray cat. All the ten of them. And yeah there are so many "why" ( I keep singing that opening).
The plot takes place literally in two places and it's so B-O-R-I-N-G. I want more action.
The wolves are stronger than the vampires. This logic gave me cancer. I'm a huge fan of vampires and werewolves literature and I've been reading a book series which made my view of them. Diabolik lovers runs this view. I need to see more vampire anime.
Something is wrong with Yui. Change my mind. If a boy is beautiful it doesn't give him the right the harass. You you need to know that my girl.

[This is a review of my overall experience with Diabolik Lovers, including the first season and more, blood. filled with cursing and about an hour of dying inside while I wrote this at 4am]

I don't remember a single thing from this season or the first. Actually that's a lie, I remember my suffering and the inexcusable amount of skipping and fast-forwarding I had to do to not tear my hair out. I also had the displeasure of watching it dubbed because I needed background noise while working on a project. I decided to re-watch the dreadful first season and the second. The first season, I ... was numb to stupidity that continued to assault my ears and sometimes my eyes. I had already experienced the displeasure of listening to them insult some girl who was magical in terms of vampires and ruling and power who was also some dumb ass who did not run form sexual assault. I mean she tried to resist but like seriously she gives up pretty quickly. I honestly expected her to commit suicide by the end of the first season. Every single one of the guys has a problem. They ranged from "oh I have mommy issues, no like severe mommy issues", "I want to chain you in a room just to insult you and sexually terrorize you" and "fuck you, I hate you, wait I want to fuck you, wait I don't like you, hey your blood tastes great, hey I'll push you in a pool, wait I feel sorry, wait I don't LIkE yOU, hey you belong to me so give me your blood". The second season was jsut a blur, I was so traumatized form the first season that the fact that there even was a second one made me feel like there was a chance to you know, correCT THE DAMN PLOT THAT HAS NO MEANING. The second one was kind of bland and not exactly memorable, form what I remember she gets kidnapped, meets more troubled pubescent males with issues that harass her for her blood because she's like the Gucci of blood for vampires and can grant you "WEALTH AND POWER AND BRAGGING RIGHTS" that are somehow gained through 4 easy payments of Yui's entire blood and soul.

THE PLOT 2/10:
Where was it?! It was snatched by the ungodly need for sexual tension and harassment! Oh no, save it with like 4 more hot but damaged to the point of no return guys. So Yui is Eve but Yui also kinda maybe isn't Eve but wait she is fucking Eve. Is there even an explanation to why she's Eve or like how they knew besides oh look goody, another toy to play with by drinking its blood and doing the dirty with it 'till it dies and we get another one, oh no she's Eve so mother issues must emerge along with strange sexual fantasies become real and bipolar bitchy males, but because she's Eve we must harass her even more and basically kill her to become Adam. But wait! I have feelings for her. NO WAIT! I don't have feelings for her, I only like her because of [insert reason compiled with flashback Yui can't see that poorly explains their life story and problem]. Then Yui's like "oh no wait- eh?!!?!?!" and stays a fucking pansy, not running away but feeling sympathy/pity for them even though she didn't even see the somewhat poorly animated backstory. After an emotional scene, boom- Yui is being insulted and raped. Caressing thighs, just basically eating her neck, you know all the normal strangely sexual ways to drink blood.

In the second season, another family of blood suckers with existential problems that for some reason need Yui just up and kidnap her. Blah blah blah. First set of abusers come looking their little bitch to bite again, arguing fighting, Yui being a pushover, all compiled with "I want to be the ADAM TO YOUR EVE even though you'll most likely be dead, [some bad dehumanizing nickname for the pushover herself]!" and "But alas [degrading nickname] I cannot become Adam because of [insert bad reason that never stopped anyone], but because of that I shall still drink thy blood because it's not like you need blood to you know, live."

THE ART 3/10:
There isn't much to say, you've seen the cover of it. It's mediocre, not the best style but not terrible but it somewhat works for the terrible thing that is this anime. The animation however is all over the place, although I wasn't paying attention to it much when I powered through the entire franchise, it wouldn't have mattered if I stared that the screen while watching it. I had to imagine a good amount of it. It was like they were stick figure with limited ranges of motion so most of it was up to you and your depressed and harassed potentially intoxicated brain to fill in the gaps. It coulee passed as an amateur animatic. Would I call this studio animation? Not exactly. Was this the best part of the anime itself? Honestly it was except for those moments with too much detail into a drawing of Yui's thigh being molested.

THE SOUND 1/10:
It haunted me. The VAs for the sub were fine, I just felt bad for them having to voice this madness. All the noises, the stupid lines. Oh boy did I feel traumatized for the VAs, I hope they got paid a good amount for this torture. Given the fact that I watched this abomination dubbed, it was even more terrible. Considering that a lot of anime dubs aren't the best, they do still try to sync the lines to the lips no matter how absurd the content was. It was so much worse for me dubbed, I could hear how reluctant each voice actor was who had to read the translated lines and make the god awful sounds, I could hear their soul on the inside cracking and most of all, I heard everything in the language that I mainly speak so I was internalizing it way more than I wanted to. I give all the VAs of this props, the garbage was read out loud multiple times by professionals who could have been working on any other project.

The music, isn't very memorable. I remember it being okay with and eerie feeling. I skipped a lot of the openings and endings but they always gave me a dark rose covered in blood with way too many thorns killing a bee vibe. Or that could just be the entirety of the series in general.

CHARACTERS 1/10:
I tried to justify them so I could maybe give it a 2/10 but they were just so bad. Starting with the males, I thought they were all cookie cutter versions of every version of the stereotypical bad boy mixed with a lot of aristocrat. BOY WAS I WRONG. They were all messed up in the brain. CRAZY WITH MOMMY ISSUES is how I would describe each of them. I can't comment on the second family of vampire rejects because they weren't all that memorable to me a year ago. I wasn't paying attention to their life story since they were only featured in one season. I don't even remember their names, traits or even my favorite. But from what I know is that the Mukami family had a way better relationship with each other. Out of the main cast of vampire rejects on creepy mansion island, my favorite was without a doubt Subaru. Shuu was the demanding, lazy bitch. Reiji was rule-abiding and sadistic. Laito was perverted and sadistic mixed with too much aristocrat from anyone to handle. Kanato was crazy and so was his mommy bear. Ayato was bipolar and abusive. Subaru gave Yui a chance to escape, she denied it, Subaru gave her a knife to kill vampires, she doesn't use it, and a vampire with anger-management issues and serious negligence issues.

Yui doesn't deserve to be the heroine. She had absolutely no personality, no defining characteristics. She's just a blood bag with "feelings" and a desire to learn about everyone's past. She runs from the vampires themselves but won't escape the damn mansion. She doesn't want to be used but doesn't fucking kill them. She hates them but she won't fucking leave them. She might be more bipolar in an indecisive way than Ayato. Who is she? I have no idea. I don't know how she has such clear skin after being abused every fucking episode with blood an hickeys covering her. I really don't believe she's human and alive with the amount of blood being drained out of her and the fact that she doesn't have anemia or some kind of deficiency. She gives in so quickly after trying to run away, and keeps trying to talk to them and understand their twisted mindsets. She a blood bucket with everyone's saliva in her that is unskilled in everyday who is also a pushover with masochistic tendencies that she doesn't even know about.

ENJOYMENT 3/10:
It's a 3 not because it was entertaining. The idea of this monstrosity going through so many people and being created, adapted into an anime, voiced, dubbed, and given a second season was entertaining. I found it borderline hysterical that this piece of trash was given so much when it consisted of bad, abusive relationships with so many males and like 1 female and 3 moms who caused mommy issues in 6 man children with fangs. It garnered a good laugh out of me and my ex-friend when we weren't cringing over the implied rape in each episode of the terror that was Diabolik Lovers for its downright stupidity.

OVERALL 2/10:
It wasn't a pleasant experience watching this. It only gets a 2 because of the drinking game made for this anime and just how much effort went into this mess for a terrible product to come out of it and how it needed a sequel. I recommend you watch it if you want to die on the inside, get drunk after the first 2 episodes of watching this short anime while playing a drinking game, or just laugh at how bad everything is.

I loved the plot and the characters! And I definitely want a season 3!

Honestly I love vampires and I really hope my favorite anime can have a season 3!!!!

Watched it straight off the bat from the first season, with my expectations being low. However, much to my relief, this season was a definite improvement from the first.

The storyline was shrouded in darkness throughout, with not a lot being revealed about the importance of some of the aspects brought up, and though it worked at keeping me interested in what was going on, it still made me a little frustrated that it was keeping its cards to its chest (to say the least). Even though the main focus of each episode was watching the blood being drained from Yui and making her pass out ... of blood loss, which was pretty much the jist of the first season, there was somewhat more of a reason behind everything that was going on, instead of the main plot line happening behind the scenes.

The focus on the Mukami was much more in depth than the Sakamaki, and swayed me to prefer the new characters over the original gang. It was probably because of the lack of interest or emotion coming from the Sakamaki's, which was one key aspect that led to me getting a bit bored of them. Yes, I know, they're cold sadistic vampires, but I wasn't getting much else from them. There was still very little character development with Yui, who continued to be pathetic and way too shy for her own good. However, with the last episode, and what was being indicated from that, hopefully something will be done about that.

Clearly there will be a third season on its way (if the powers above don't decide to cut it), with the last episode leaving off on a more than obvious cliff hanger, and as odd it may sound from someone who started this as a sceptic, I will be looking forward to seeing it. I will be looking forward to a bit more action, and will hopefully see Yui become a stronger female protagonist. No more living up to the name of "Bitch-Chan" (appropriate as it may be).

The story was great! But I have to say that Ruki made the story lame by his long chit chat with Yui. I mean, Ayato got only 4 episodes in there. How could you call them main if they barely come out?! I think season 2 focused more of the Mukami brothers. I don't know why they would focus on NEWCOMERS instead of the OLD ONE.

I hate Ruki. He wants to be adam so bad, why does he have to take Yui from the Sakamaki brothers?! The Mukami brothers kidnapped Yui which they have no right, and made Yui have her own ... "freedom" in life. Seriously, they are prisoning her! I still rate it 10/10 because of Ayato!

Story 5/10:
I may have given it a higher praise than it should have gotten, but I think it has indeed improved compared to the previous anime. The story stayed simplistic, there were not too many complications between the new characters and the old ones. The new vampire' (Mukami brothers) feelings for the Sakamaki brother stayed hated, and vice versa. The problem with this anime is there are too many unneeded guys and they are almost all too predictable. Is hard too make the story a 10 if you can very easily predict what comes next. But I still ... find it better than the first season.

Art 7/10:
I first got attracted by this anime because of its art. They did a good job on the choice of colour for the characters. Their choice of color templates was very good. I especially liked the transparency of the characters hair. The eyes of the vampire were also well-drawn. When the vampires had a sad emotion, the shadow in their eyes would become nearer to the color of their eyes on the color scale (for example: blue and purple). It was the opposite when they are more stable or excited, their eyes would have more contrast (for example: green and red). Yui was the only one that is not very interesting in the artistic aspects. You could probably count with one hand on how many kinds of face she has made. But seeing the last few episodes, I think she still has time to develop if they ever make a third season.

Sounds 6/10:
Fair is the only word for it. They made a lot of effort on the background music. There were a lot of background music with string instruments. There were some that sounded very nice, but there were also times when the notes were not very cooperative. Which made the music chaotic and lousy. So what happens was, I was feeling with the music and the next second wanted to pull out my ear plug and then the music was nice, and then again it went bad. So this went on and on. If you think good music is very important for an anime, I recommend you not to watch this one.

Characters 5/10:
The main reason why I felt obliged to write this review was because of its characters. The characters in the first season was a complete let-down. I had originally completely given up on season two, but wanted to see if there was a slightest possibility that it might be better. And it didn't disappoint me in some ways. The Sakamaki brothers didn't change a bit. I got really fed up with them. But the Mukami brothers were more interesting. They had more emotions than just "I want your blood". The reason might be because they were humans. Human emotions are more complicated than vampire's in this anime. If the characters are too simple like in the first season, you would get tired very soon. Yuki had always been the main problem of this show. She had no will. The Mukami brother encouraged her to choose instead of being a blood donating doll. This was also the main reason why I gave this story a 7 out of 10.


If you have watched the first season and found it's acceptable, I would recommend you to give this a try. I personally liked the last two episodes the best.

Where do I begin with this anime? I am a fan of the first season (although I am among few). Its a reverse harem shojo with very one dimensional characters. It serves its purpose in making women swoon with its sexy vampire men (myself included). In Diabolik Lovers: More Blood, the character of the Sakamaki brothers remains pretty much the same. There is slight development with Ayato's character. I was at first not to thrilled about the new characters, the Mukami tribe. Nothing could come between me and the Sakamaki brothers. However, the Mukami tribe has exceeded my expectations. They are far more relatable than ... the Sakamaki brothers in that they can actually hold a conversation with Yui. This anime is moving in the right direction with its character development and story.

Well, this was a step up from season one. If I'm being honest, I hated season one. I just found it to b a whole lot of rape and assault with a sudden random story line thrown in at the end. While season 2 was by no means a masterpiece, I would encourage everyone who despised the first season to stick around at least to read this.

To begin with, I have to say that I might be a little biased because I read the manga. In the manga, all the character have more personality, including Yui (if only by a bit), most don't assault her, ... she's only one vampire's food (she picks one guy, the others kinda just stay away), and nobody tried to force a story line-- it's handled as semi-romantic-ish oneshots with whichever guy you pick for Yui. It's a much better way to handle this type of show.

That being said, I greatly preferred the story of this season to the last one. It made more sense, in my opinion, even if we didn't know a real full depth. Would I call it a commendable plot? Heck no. But is it okay to have in the background if you're watching for vampires and reverse harem? Yeah, it is.

The art is okay. There are some moments where it seems that the art wasn't thought through or suddenly dips in quality, but in particular, the hair and eyes are very beautiful and the tree scenes are nice to look at as well. The other backgrounds are a little dull, and as usual, no work was put into any of the characters outfits other than their original design, but I think that the character design itself was enough to make up for it.

The opening theme and closing theme aren't anything special, but I guess it got the 'this is a supposed-to-be-dark-show' point across well enough. Sometimes, they played the meme-worthy smexy jazz music in the background in the weirdest parts, which made me laugh, so I'm not sure if that was intentional.

The characters were better this time around. Again, I may be a little biased by the frankly better manga, but the Sakamaki's were disappointing rapists as usual. Whenever they assault Yui, they like seeing her struggle and know she hates it, but when someone else does, she 'fell into their arms and asked for it'. They get mad at her for no reason because of it too. I'm glad they finally burned Teddy, I hate Kanato if I'm being honest. That being said, the Sakamaki's aren't the main focus here, but the new four characters. Some were weird, but I found them to be overall nice dudes because they had been human, I suppose. I found that I could sympathize with them. Ruki had me sold when he offered Yui a choice. (look at me, female in 2018, falling for a guy for being decent and giving a girl an actual choice... a basic human right... wow, I've sunk pretty low, haven't I?)

Overall, this was decent. I wouldn't say it's amazing and I don't think I'll be rewatching this any time soon, but I didn't hate it and even though I was continously checking to see how much time was left before it was over, I kind of want to see a season three just so they can tell us who the founders are, if I'm being honest.

I would recommend this if: you like hot guys, you like hot guys with tragic angsty backstories, you find yourself liking Ciel Phantomhive's backstory, you like extreme reverse harems, you like the whole degradation and BDSM-y style relationship stuff, you fantasize about being kidnapped and fought over

I would NOT recommend this if: you're looking for a deep plot, you want character development, you're looking for meaningful romance, you're into explicitly stated consent, you're even the least bit feminist (what am I doing here? how low I have fallen)

Diabolik Lovers Season Two. Enough said.

Okay, so maybe it got a bit better at the end. That said, there's still a lot of manhandling and treating the girl as food. I have to say the Murakami brothers are waaaaaaaaaaaaay better than the Sakamaki brothers at respecting Yui, but for the most part, they still abuse her beyond what's in my comfort zone. I mean, the guys are hot, but please, can we have some sort of romantic storyline? They definitely incorporated more romance into this series since Yui is bounced between the Murakami brothers and the Sakamaki brothers, but every single time there's this really ... romantic scene where in any normal romance anime they'd kiss, they bite her and she's in pain. Like PLEASE.

The majority of the season is Yui getting accustomed to the Murakami brother and the Murakami's relations with the Sakamaki family. So there's a lot of back plot and the main plot of Yui being Eve and she needs to find an Adam doesn't really move until the very end of the series, making is seem like there's definitely going to be a third season. They threw in a bunch of plot at the end and the series itself ended as a cliffhanger, so I'm calling that third season.

As I said, the Murakami brothers are waaaaaaaaaaaaay better than the Sakamaki brothers with the exception of Subaru (but in the anime he seems much like the other Sakamaki bros and this makes me sad because in the games he's the only one that seems normal). Ruki has some doubts about feeding off Yui, which makes me hope at least that he's humane in some sense. The brothers also have a better relation between them, eating together and hanging out together and what not. They just seem more human and enjoyable as characters rather than six individuals that just abuse the heroine for their own sake.

I just wish they'd put in more romance and less "you are livestock" and "you are the key to making my life better hahaha." I get that this is what the main plot is, but I wish they'd make the guys more like likable guys rather than jerks that are really really really hot. But I have to say it's an improvement on season one just because of the Murakami bros.

And here i thought the first season of this was bad when it comes to everything expect art in comes a new challenger.

Story is the same as last one only that its worse and only this time we have more characters how fun isnt that ugh... If i said the story was bite bite bite bite bite bite then that would almost have been a good summary with a little real story sprinkled in between. The second season couldnt do anything better than the first and they even made the plot that tiny bit of plot actually more confusing and more annoying than ... the previous one.

Again the art is the only good thing this anime has going for it.

Sound is as with the last nothing to write home about.

There are new characters and only this time they are half human half vampire which means its actually lets be friends but if you arent my friend we bite you alot of times. Main character keeps being boring and pathetic all the way through. She is made to be pretty and such but her insides exept her blood is so uninterestingly submissive it makes me moan.

I didnt enjoy this anime actually there were things i hoped for there were things i wanted but none of them came to be and to top it all of the anime just sucked the life straight out of me.

Overall 1 or 2 makes not much difference but the animation is getting its credits although everything else was boring and not remotely interesting. Again if you want a submissive girl getting sucked dry with not much about her going for then yes this is your anime. If you want an anime with a main character who is more than a sac of blood then move to another anime and dont look back. Im happy that i have watched this and previous season because then atleast i can give a warning to those that hopes to find a decent anime since i do know that there are those who walks into the door not heading any warning because of 1 the submissive girl getting bitten , 2 the guys in it.

Where to start...
-The girl's personality is absolutely breathtaking
-The plot flows so logically
-The ending really gives you the closure you've been waiting for

Why?
1. The fact that she can memorize all the guys' names and still makes an effort to repeat their names every 3 seconds like it's an alphabet makes me think that she is a diligent and humble girl who is always willing to learn more. By episode 12, she had learned 5 new words: uh, ha, eh, [name]-kun, and jiko. Impressive!
2. It makes a lot of sense to sit in your living rooms half asleep wondering where Yui went after getting attacked. Of course, ... no chance she is kidnapped. Why would you think that? She must be taking a midnight stroll in the rose garden.
3. We now have in-depth information about what happens after the eclipse.

After almost dying of enjoyment under the impact of the astonishing character development, I have realized how my personality is plain compared to Yui's. I could never say "uh, eh, ah" so charismatically and with such enthusiasm.

!!!BREAKING NEWS!!! THIS ONE WAS EVEN WORSE THAN FIRST SEASON.

ARE we surprised??? ofc not. I watched this season solely because my cousin forced me to it. Not gonna lie the director and writers really outshined themselves with adding Walmart version of the main cast and caling it second season. Not to forget they also added mental illness and trauma to the list of things they romanticized out of their way for us. This season is just the first season with more characters and plot holes. I suggest no one wastes their time with this abomination unless they wanna get a laugh out of the ... cringe and badness levels of this anime.

The only thing this anime got a high score of would be on a race called:"How can we abuse and traumatize woman in less than 13 episodes. "

Let me say this season is much better than the first season. The mukami brothers are a real refreshment and they actually had some dam character development and I liked them. I didn't get the whole eve thing, but I hope it's explained better in the third season. There is still to much blood sucking in one episode and it's sometimes very confusing. I have to say that I like Ruki more than Ayato because he genuinely seems to like Yui and this is also displayed with his anxiety which was again very refreshing. The intro is really good, but I didn't think to much ... of the outro. The art was nice and I again really loved how the eyes are done. So conclusion, if you thought season one was shit you might like this one more. If you liked season one you will definitely like this one.

segunda temporada deste belo anime (belo ?), a proposta da segunda temporada foi repetitiva, nossa ela é a tal "Eve" e precisamos do sangue dela para se torna Adams, eles adicionam mais 4 vampiros e 1 deles sendo o amigo de infancia (possivelmente pois não afirmam) que deu o cachorrinho pra um dos meninos quando era pequeno, pra mim a proposta foi muito fraca, mas se tivesse um remake onde exatamente resolve-se o erro da primeira temporada e da segunda, a nossa bela protagonista Bitch-cha 0 personalidade, seria um hiper remake que eu veria se resolver a personalidade dela, eu nem sei se ... o mangá é exatamente assim, mas se for podia ser uma daquelas obras em que o diretor salvaria a obra fazendo ela ser melhor para o publico que procura.
Este sim é um anime que foi focadasso no hárem mas com uma protagonista sem personalidade fica dificil você querer.
