The Tokyo Anime Awards started in 2002, but was named in 2005. The first, second and third award ceremonies were simply named 'Competition'. The award ceremonies were held at the Tokyo International Anime Fair (TAF) until 2013. In 2014, after the merger of the Tokyo International Anime Fair with the Anime Contents Expo and the formation of the AnimeJapan convention, the Tokyo Anime Awards was changed into a separate festival called Tokyo Anime Awards Festival (TAAF). Whether its some crazy dream like going to space or something you've never heard of before like playing the Koto, their contagious passion radiates off the screen and hook us in. This list of shows the different way that people persevere and follow their dreams. Since most Shounen shows has this trope such as becoming the Hokage or making it to Koshien, I'll be skipping the more superficial and generic motivations unless it had an interesting twist to it. Anime that teaches the viewer about or creates interest in a subject. Focusing on more tangible topics, not something subjective or abstract like life lessons. Slice of Life can be divide into two kinds, the fun one and the deep one. And this is my collection for truly slice of life drama animes. It represents the epitome of human nature and feelings. These animes might be inspirational ones that might hit you like a bullet to the heart. If the other kind of Slice of Life is more drama heavy, of course there are light ones. The shows will make you feel comfortable, lighthearted, and giggle at the same time. These are the fun Slice of Life shows you might actually enjoy. If there's a rich-flavored cake, of course some people can enjoy or prefer plain vanilla ones. We've all experienced that frustrated feeling of enjoying an anime, only to find out that the rest of the show will never be fully animated or it has a horrible, rushed, incomplete, unsatisfying ending. Here is a list of anime with endings that are so fulfilling and complete that they will leave you with nothing but a heart full of contentment and/or bittersweetness. List was created through collective data from multiple websites of people's answers as to what shows are considered to have satisfying endings. Shows that Masami Okui has sung in, has been credited in, or is plainfully obvious that it's her. (ex: Akazukin Chacha) Sometimes we get tired of the amount shows that takes place in high school and want just something different. A selection of 21st century anime series featuring characters who are adults. From ordinary office workers to traveling peddlers to superheroes, adult protagonists can have a variety of life experiences and many different ways of living. Young emerging adults may still be trying to find their path in life, while established older folks are more likely to have mastered the art of adulting - or at least learned enough to muddle by. Some adults become jaded over time from repeated exposure to the reality that life is often painful, depressing, and unfair. Others retain a more positive outlook by focusing on their dreams for the future or take a more pragmatic approach by putting all their efforts into improving their lives here and now. A variety of anime featuring female characters in the workforce. They may be paid employees or someone in training who is serving an apprenticeship or unpaid internship. Shows/Movies of all kinds that are either meant for or can be enjoyed by an older audience. A treasure trove of excellence covering a wide range. Story-driven thrillers, well researched historical shows, brilliant world-constructions, poetic narrations, gripping thrillers, dark comedies, complex future visions, tightly packed action, avant-garde art, solid entertainment, tear-jerking dramas to light-hearted slices of lives. Sometimes we all just need a bit of cuteness to help us through our day. While some people may want to pet puppies or hug little kids, many anime fans will turn to lolis to lower their testosterone levels. Here of some of the best anime to do this with. I'm INFP, so I love watching characters who have the same perspective. I think this is interesting to watch some Fi-Ne dynamics in others. watch this, at least once. And you will understand that anime is not just entertainment for small children. Yes, there is something of a MAL equivalent in Japan. |
