Have you ever watched a massive dump for a few hours gather flies? I have. It’s called Funny Pets!
Funny Pets is the tale of a sun thing and a moon thing and a poor excuse for a woman doing nothing IN CGI! This anime will change your life, mainly because it with make your eyes bleed so hard that they might just fall out of their sockets. On with the review!

Episode 1 is pretty slow. Nothing happens.
Episodes 2-5 things begin to pick up, with nothing happening even faster.
Episode 6 is pretty special, with nothing happening.
Episodes 7-10 is where it gets fun, with special attention paid read more

Funny Pets is funny in a cosmic sort of way, no pun intended. It’s by the guy who did Popee the Performer for context. The basic premise is that two aliens named Corona and Crescent, who represent the sun and moon respectively, crash landed on Earth and have fallen under the care of a ditzy woman named Funny. Shenanigans ensue. Oh my god do shenanigans ensue.

This was a show that seemed boring at first, but I couldn’t look away. It’s just too hard to pin it down properly. One episode ends with a heartfelt, feel-good moment, the next ends read more

This right here folks, is the definitive example of an underrated masterpiece. Generally that phrase is difficult to take seriously, but in this case I implore you let me explain: Enter the character of Crescent, this series' proverbial punching bag, with majority of episodes devoted to enacting increasingly abstract forms of torture on him. You can't help but feel for him, he tries so hard and gets so far but in the end it doesn't even matter, as at the end of every episode no matter what world ending-ly dire situation he gets into his efforts are erased by an unexplained universal reset. I can't read more

Funny Pets is potentially the most bizarre show I've ever seen. It presents itself like a children's cartoon on the surface, but is actually an incredibly dark, morbid, surreal show. The juxtaposition of super childish content with extremely adult content (both violent and sexual) makes it a very weird, sometimes uncomfortable watch. This is definitely a "you'll either love it or hate it" type of show. I can understand why people would dislike it, but I would also look into what the show is before you write it off. I think there are two types of people who will enjoy read more
