For this list "school" can apply to any organisation that has the typical rigid hierarchy/power structure, junior/senior dynamic (things like militaries count but not informal clubs or groups)

Only the first series of any given show is included in the list

The " Big 3 " Shonen anime... If you were living under a rock and don't know anything about the big 3 then let me tell you there are 3 shonen anime. Which were extremely popular during 2000's ,and still are. One piece, Naruto and bleach... So if you have to add one more anime to them which one will you add.

Anime aired in Spain's TV channels (public or private), listed with the Spanish title. Might be missing some or be messy: I wanted to add the most important but also the less obvious. Excluding most sequels & movies.
