Anime with opening or ending themes sang in English. I'm almost certainly missing/forgetting some, so if you know of any others let me know.

Essential anime for lonely people out there (like me) if you want to feel something in this big big world. To see every color, every character in desperate search for some human warmth, to understand and befriend them as we ourselves are looking for genuine connection.

A parallel to this list in letterboxd:

It's like the Alphabet but with Anime Titles.

- Two TV Anime per letter with the exception of X and Z because you can only list up to 50 titles.

- I tried to create a variety of genres to keep it interesting

This Interest Stack is directly inspired by Digibro's "250 Anime Recommendations". Everything listed here is directly taken from the original video.
------
The reason to create this stack was to not make anyone sit through a 6-Hour long video.
------
This is the continuation of Part 2 of the 250 Anime recommendations list (Separated in parts because of MAL's 50 entries per list limit).
------
In the words of Digibro herself: "I'm also going to state how much i recommend these show's, So the minimum will be a light recommendation meaning something that i dont necessarily think is amazing but its worth checking out if you're bored, Not all of these are gonna be like 10/10 classics. Some of these are gonna be like OK shows that are just worth checking out. Maybe you'll like it more than i did."
------
* = Light recommendation
** = Medium recommendation
*** = Strong recommendation
**** = MUST-WATCH

------
Here are how these anime are categorized (In Order)

SLICE-OF-LIFE/IYASHIKEI: Tamako Market - Yokohama Shopping Log

SPORTS: Baby Steps - Saki

ACTION/ADVENTURE: Baccano! - Zetsuen no Tempest

ALL-AGES ADVENTURE: Cardcaptor Sakura - Princess Tutu

SCI-FI/CYBERPUNK/FANTASY: Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex - Utawarerumono

MECHA: Code Geass - Giant Robo the Animation: The Day The Earth Stood Still (Continued in Part 4)

Buzz was a Spanish subscription television channel produced by AMC Networks International Iberia. Its programming focused on horror content, both in current series and movies.

Despite not being Spanish, I have managed to appreciate the content that this channel transmitted along with several of its dubbings into Castilian Spanish, which, from my point of view, are mostly worth it.

Animax was a Spanish subscription television channel of Japanese origin, distributed by Sony Pictures Entertainment under the international Animax brand. It was launched as a channel on April 12, 2008.

On December 4, 2013, it was confirmed that the channel definitively ceased its broadcasts on December 31, 2013, due to its abandonment in recent months.

Animax Spain broadcast popular series and movies and, in some cases, I dare say that it had better programming than the Latin American version.

Girls with guns is a subgenre of action films and animation that portray a female protagonist engaged in shootouts. The genre typically involves gun-play, stunts and martial arts action. The "girls-with-guns" subgenre has also permeated the anime space.

A collection of shows with a particular atmosphere: Melancholy, often weird, supported by a particular style of visual storytelling.

In general, entries will make good use of silence and stillness, and often evoke feelings of isolation or alienation

Anime featuring casts in which a majority of the characters are not Japanese. This stack is open to suggestions/corrections

Characters must be either from the real world and not Japan or from a fictional location that is analogous to one in the real world (I.E Spy x Family's Westalis/Ostania being analogous to Germany, or Code Geass's Britannia being analogous to Britain). Because of this vaguely European fantasy settings aren't included, as there are very many of them and they are in a different ballpark than more realistic settings. I could make multiple interest stacks out of vaguely European fantasy settings alone. I did include One Piece though only because the mangaka has officially said what countries all of the characters would be from in the real world and it is not ambiguous. I have decided to include shows set in space if the characters are clearly non-Japanese humans because humans came from the real world into space, after all.

More definitive shows are at the top whereas vaguer shows are at the bottom.

Strong gradients; metallic, unsaturated or cold colors (greenish yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet); blobs, shiny textures, 90's futurism, robotic or serif fonts. Trends are towards Sci-Fi, Mystery, Action and Suspense.

Do not mistake with Frutiger Aero of which made a stack too: https://myanimelist.net/stacks/39021

We all know the classic “elitist” shows, FLCL, Eva, Serial Experiments Lain.
However, these shows are just as deep, philosophical but are less known among the community, only being discussed and praised by a select few critics across various social media sites. [As a general rule, They can be from any time period, but of course most of them will be old cult-classics.]

Admittedly, I have not watched most of these shows, but have done my dutiful research to find them.

If this gets enough stacks, I might make a tertiary watchlist package :o

A stack dedicated to a certain kind of tragic, elegic anime that makes you mourn for a time you didn't exist or a place you've never been to.
