They center around pervy teens. Both series have highly perverted comedy and wacky situations.

Ecchi comedies, both contain stories about the girl and the guy connected by past

Both animes are filled with perversion of the same level, and filled with Ecchiness, so if you like Ecchi anime, you'll definitely like Golden Boy. Golden Boy is indeed an much older anime, but it's a classic.

Each of these series is ENTIRELY ecchi. That's the theme. But the beauty of these, is that they each have an objective based plot. A girl/girls is trying to win the man of her/their dreams, and fight amongst each other to do so, usually to the male's dismay and suffering. There is also a small group of guys who have a new-found hate for the male in question.

What are similarities between these two series? Let's see... - both series contain ecchi humor - comedies that later contain romance themes - drama - both MC meeting many girls - the main character proving himself to these girls that he is not who they originally see him as.

both have same plots like some school is transfered for some time and they hate being there . they are against at first . both have cute girls.

both of these series is simmilar because of their characters. inukami got a main character (boy) who is very ecchi and always tries to flirt with girls all around him Green Green has a main character and some supporting characters (girl) which is just as ecchi as the main character from inukami

Fanservice, pretty school girls, with comedy anyone? That's what you're going to get out of these two 12-episode anime series. Every episode is packed full with funny comedy bits mixed well with plenty of ecchiness (panty shots, half-naked pretty girls, harem, perverted jokes). Since there's no full-frontal nudity or on-screen sex, neither can be called hentai, though Green Green does it best to push what is not hentai to it's absolute edge. The comedy bits, when executed correctly, were extremely funny, but only if you've understood the hidden adult-themed double entendres behind them. The fanservice in both series are a big part of what makes these  read more

Both experiment with love and destiny. The Red Thread. However Green Green is a lot sillier / immature (thus probably why the name green green :p).

both series are ecchi themed, and have the female leads (chitose midori and yayoi asuka) falling for the male leads(yuusuke takasaki and tetsuro tanaka)

In both anime a girls attacks on the boy from nowhere. In both series, a boy gets stuck to a girl (with special abilities) and the girl do whatever it takes to make him like her. In both series boys react on the girl, even though their feelings are somewhat similar. In both series these girls are kind of lolicon and love the boy because of something happens in past whom which the boy had no memory.

Both were set in an all girls school turned coed. Both are quite ecchi. In both main character have two friends from the start that are boys, are mainly perverted and always leave the main character behind when someone catches them. The main character girls are thought to be Stereotype. Both have main character who care about girls .

Both these anime series' main story is about a time-traveller from the future that is trying to change it from the past-line they travelled to. Basically Midori from Green Green and Karin from DNA2. Green Green is pretty grotesque with its ecchi scenes, DNA2 isn't like that at all. Nevertheless, both have a bitter-sweet ending that leaves you at awe and are worth watching definitely.

To put it simply, these two share qualities in their story and plot that goes for romance but ends up with general confusion into what just happened. The protagonist is similar in attitude, supporting cast have slight similarities and with overall structure... well, you know the rest.

Both series are comedies with plenty of echi content with a splash of nudity for good measure. They're both in that sweet spot between anime and hentai.

Very perverted anime with very little redeeming qualities overall. If you have self-dignity, then these anime are some of the bottom of the barrel, but for everyone else, these series are both mediocre.

Both harem orientated shows which are better known for being risque, more than anything else.

One guy, many girls, you get the idea. Also, in both series, the MC is not a complete idiot and wins the hearts of some of the other girls through kindness and determination. Both series also have a little of "ecchi" and fan-service. Sekirei has more action while Green Green focuses more on drama.

Both have very intensive echhi moments and hilarious actions If you liked ZnT you probality also like GG

They both are romancer based anime, usually about a gut finding a girl he likes, but there is always a problem like a promise or another girl, Shuffle is about Rin who lives with a girl name Kaede, who are child hood friends, and then some other girls come from different worlds one from the god realm and the other form the demon realm, He has to choose between them, which one to marry, he has many problems like 5 girls liking him, 2 from his school. 2 from the other worlds and 1 his childhood friend and a girl comes along who was from  read more

Two Ecchi's. Both have two similar main female characters fighting for the male lead. Both school themed, and both are very funny.

Holy Crap! He did NOT just link an shounen action series and a school romance slice of life series together!! You bet I did. Though it's pretty much a one way compatibility. If you liked Sadamitsu the Destroyer, than you probably like action, but if your a little deeper and also enjoyed the unrequited love story built into the plot than Green Green may provide you with the same little twang on your heartstrings. I'm not sure how many hard core slice of lifers who usually look down on any shounen anime will take to all the fights in Sadamitsu the Destroyer.

Both of these have relationships that start to improve throughout the series but at the end they have to end it do to circumstances.... Both are very happy and sad animes, might sound oxymoron but its very comforting...

When I watched this series, I couldn’t help but think of that romantic comedy series done 20+ years ago. Kyosuke gets pursued by Hikaru, who is really cheery and happy, while he pines for the prototype tsundere, the easy-to-anger but caring Madoka. Add a little bit of sci-fi (Kyosuke and family are espers) and his two buddy pervy schoolmates Seiji Komatsu and Kazuya Hatta. Green Green has a lot more ecchi situations and stranger classmates, but for those who enjoyed the show for the potential love triangles, KOR is classic.

Recommended only for guys as a comedy. Both are about the school days of some perverted teenagers and their practical jokes and adventures, both have toilet humor, both will make you laugh till you drop, although I have to say Ping Pong Club is not only the source of inspiration for Green Green, but also for GTO in some ways. Ping Pong Club however doesn't deal with the nudity in a sexy way but in a funny way, unlike Green Green. You might also find Ping Pong Club a lot more exagerated.

Hanaukyou Maid-tai is pervy just like green green, but none of the lovey/romance, if your just in for the Ecchi-acts and steamy sceans Hanukyou Maid-tai or Green Green is for you :D

Both have a good ammout of ecchi and fanservice, and have a plot which may make you think .... and enough laughs to make you cry.

What do we have here? - 4 dudes without a girlfriend - one of them actually gets a harem - humor is mostly on a sex theme - lots of fan service
report Recommended by Gokudo-kun
Both anime involve girls that are in love with the male main character.

Do you want another ecchi/harem with some "paranormal" stuff? Here it is.

similar in art and story

School slice-of-life flick with the genders trying to couple together. School Rumble is much more light-hearted and pure slice-of-life with no long term plot, whereas Green Green is much more of a comedy, raunchy style with occassional nudity.

If you enjoyed colorful then you will undoubtedly enjoy green green.
