One Piece Fan Letter

Hands down THE BEST EPISODE this 2024. Even if this is not cannon whatsoever. This episode is just peak. The animation, story, character, in just the span of 23 minutes, you get to love the kid and those marines who fought in the war. You get to see their perspectives, perspective of a normal person. Hope they make more of different perspectives of different characters in the one piece world. I can't express how much I really loved this single episode! It made me feel again why I loved one piece so much! Even without the fighting, and the extreme visual effects. Just the right ... directions and music can make anything a masterpiece. I'm not overhyped like most people here but I gotta tell yall, It's a decent filler episode. It's not great, doesn't bring anything new to the table other than fanservice. Actually, it's the first time I see someone portray the fanbase of something so well into an episode, that's pretty fun to see. But you have nothing truly engaging here. In 24 minutes, I couldn't care less about the nami-wannabe or the marine brothers. The greatest part in this episode is indeed the powerscale discussion, that's funny AF cuz it actually escapes from most filler-anime cliches and that's rare to see. As the name sugests, ... it's a special, it adds nothing to the main story, it only celebrates in some way. If you are unsure whether or not you should watch cuz It's filler, It's worth a try. But is not necessary to the story.

The animation looks horrible, the story is voring and you can't connect with any of the characters. The story of each carachter separated is something that just doesn't work, they could have used the girl as the anchor of the story but they did not. The music doesn't fit the begining scene at marineford. The girl getting that far is something that just shouldn't happen, specially with her low intelligence putting herself in danger for no reason. The only people who could like this are One Piece fans, if you have watched it normally and don't have a conection with the series you won't enjoy ... this. And even if you are I don't think it is what you are looking for.
