Tsuyokute New Saga

Humanity and demonkind have been on bad terms for millennia, resulting in the continent of Leunders being split in two. Although the situation has stabilized between the races, the fragile peace breaks when the new demon king launches a fierce all-out attack. With all of the non-demon nations falling to the violence in under a year, humanity's hope rests in a special squad, led by swordsman Kyle Leonard, that must assassinate the demon king in order to bring an end to the war.

During the dangerous mission, Kyle ends up in a clash with the demon king that brings him to the brink of death. As Kyle realizes he has lost everything he wanted to protect, a mysterious gem transports him back in time before the conflict even started! Now with knowledge of future events and a strong desire to save his loved ones, Kyle sets out to become even stronger to prevent the extinction of humanity.

Preliminary (3/12 eps)

This anime isn't groundbreaking, but it does a solid job of telling a familiar story. The plot—going back in time to save the world—is something we've all seen before, but it’s handled well so far. The main character acts logically and reasonably, which is a refreshing change from the usual impulsive protagonists.

The animation is decent. Sure, there are a few rough spots where scenes could’ve looked better or more polished, but considering expectations weren’t high going in, it’s honestly better than anticipated.

Overall, New Saga shows promise. If it can keep up the pacing, maintain its internal logic, and continue building the world, this could easily ... stay a solid 7—maybe even climb to an 8 by the end.

Mixed Feelings

the story is ordinary, I think if this anime was more action-oriented it might be more interesting, art style and music during action part is not suitble, The animation during combat resembles a slideshow, Each character lacks distinctive characteristics and doesn't convey emotions that reflect the situation, making it seem flat, and the strangeness of the story where the main character just found out that he has a father, maybe this is explained in more detail in the manga version which I haven't read yet

I think if you've been watching anime for a while, this anime might not meet your high standards of what constitutes ... a good anime.

Preliminary (4/12 eps)

This anime feels like it was written and produced by a 14 y/o who think he's clever and has read some slop in this genre. Plot while mostly generic has some nice points and twists. Characters are more on the hate-able side. Their actions mostly fall in 2 categories: I do something stupid because plot requires a comedic moment, and I do something contrary my previous actions, because plot needs to move forward. The worst part in this anime is small details. The anime standard swinging sword like it was a stick, the monsters who are polite enough not move if you're talking or it's ... your turn to attack, the lack of details following from one frame to the other, the events that feel contrived and unrealistic, and lastly, another popular in anime - designs being either too simple to save on animation, or too grand and impractical but "looks cool." All in all, watching it in dub on second monitor while playing something might be the only feasible way to watch and enjoy it.
