The anime was kinda faithful, they only changed the order of some arcs since the manga is also episodic, and squeezed an entire arc from the 7th volume into a single episode (the one about the painter's daughter) because of two unnecessary fillers (ep 9 and 10). They also skiped the 6th volume arc, which is my favorite

Ah, I have my issues with the anime, but the last three episodes are really good and I loved the way it ended. I also really like the OVA, but I'm in love with the manga, which I think is amazing. One of the best reads I've ever had
