| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Heh, the episode took on a "horror" vibe. It had a slight Higurashi-like feel with the cicada sound effects although the episode itself is still lighthearted. Nice to actually see Higurashi characters appear from this episode though. Never thought I'd hear "Nipah" on TV again from Rika lol. Rena and the others show up too!  |

| The horror elements in this episode was amusing, trap doors and all. Liza was scared pretty much the whole time. Figured that girl was a ghost. She was quite helpful. |

| so were doing soda puns now... ok. Why the hell was there higurashi characters in this episode? was this a collaboration like a real collaboration if so I want more event collaborations like this. I laughed at the tabasco bit as well as the nipah. that gacha battle was hilarious I loved that wiseman had their own higurashi event character. I wish the higurashi cast played a bigger role and at least this mayor got what he deserved. |
| So this episode we get the horror feels...and Miss Memes'a (Choco) lines always deliver with standard puns with the ever-changing mayor... Not even the Wiseman can run this off with the creepy mansion...and the Periods themselves fall into the creepy booby trap. And OMG what is the reference to the original company under it (Happy Elements) and the production team doing here? Oh, building a collab theme park... The Higurashi vibes though...no wonder...the "cast" reunion... Liza saves the day though...trusting the ghost of the mansion, knowing her fear for ghosts, great accomplishment! This show has some redeeming quality though... |

| As I understand that this episode was dedicated to some crossover event with Higurashi from the original game... Nevertheless, I was so glad to see my favorite characters again, that I even practically shed a few tears, lol. |

| The Higurashi reference was pretty cool, that alone made this episode worth watching for me. It's still beyond me how this show went under 6 now...People find it THAT boring? Even though the art is colorful and all. |
| A crossover episode! The plot was pretty similar, the construction workers being replaced by the periods. The steamed buns part was hilarious, TABASCO!! All of the main characters showed up! And they were all full stars... but Wiseman came back to lend them a hand. This show is awesome and really underrated. |

| that slowly progressive thinking how its from higurashi => from the moment major called her Furude, and then later on they stopped hold back at all, still is it bad that i sort of expected Rena to wipe them all ?:D brutally. |
| It's like the biggest injustice that this show is UNDER SIX at the moment. Not the best comedy show by any means but it's better than most other shows this season that i'm watching. All the Higurashi stuff here were just brilliant. |
| This episode was one big Higurashi reference, holy shit I'm dying. Two best girls nipah'ing!  I laughed hard when all of them nope'd out after Rena appeared, too real. I love how Liza calls Choco "Meme Girl", too spot on. |

| This episode was so good. I love this anime. This shows does what it does well. They've even covered event characters and did it from a real anime. It is a travesty that this anime is currently below 6/10 on this website. Some people wouldn't know a good anime if it Nipahed them in the face. |

| Well! I particularly liked the entry of the Wiseman, but the rest unfortunately made me yawn all the time, although there is a reference to "Higuarshi". What a pity that the anime series is stagnating. |

| Spooky Scary Skeleton Time! There were a whole lot of "Dun Dun Duns!" this episode as well as what I felt were references to other stuff but it took me a while to figure out the source. The 4 and 5 stars felt familiar but I just couldn't put my finger on it for the longest time. That being said though... I'm curious as to how far they plant to take that, Last Period has quite a few characters from various anime. |

| I need to download the game, this anime is really fun and cute and random. I liked how the chair was there with the Higurashi characters. The pink haired girl from Wiseman cracking her fingers with her oversized sleeves was hilarious xD |
| I was enjoying this show before this episode, but I'm a HUGE mark for Higurashi, so I was fanboying out the entire time. I was picking up on the references pretty early on (Rena's machete, the cicadas, etc.), but didn't let expectations run wild until they actually name-dropped Hinamizawa. I'll save it for now, but obviously I loved this one, even if we didn't get to hear any of the other characters speak. Even before this episode, though, I'd have to agree with everyone else that this series being a 6 is criminal. It's a good parody and it already hit its stride by the second episode. Maybe people are trying to take it seriously, even though it's clearly not meant to be? |

| I actually had to stop and look up the information on this episode and found that it was a crossover of an actual other anime/game, and in consequence found out about "Higurashi no Naku Koro ni" from this series. After I watched the full Higurashi series I came back and watched this episode and was able to enjoy it. So If you are lost while watching this episode, Go watch "Higurashi no Naku Koro ni". I much enjoyed it and it made this episode much more entertaining. Of course it is of worth that Higurashi no Naku Koro ni is a horror/Paranormal. So if you do not enjoy that I guess do not watch it? Though I do recommend watching it. |
