I just watched the first episode of Oshi no Ko. I have mixed feelings about it, but mostly positive. I won't spoil it, but it starts off being really good, then got slow and boring, before finally ending on a really good note.

My only real criticism is that the first episode is way, WAY too long. I almost lost interest halfway through it. Glad I stuck it out to the end.

Spy Family is pretty good! So far, all of the anime I'm watching this season have been enjoyable.

They do explain the backstory a bit in the second half of the show, but to be honest, the second half of the show is not as interesting as the first half.

To me, it's really the episodic episodes that reflect how humans behave that really hooked me. If you didn't enjoy the first half, I doubt you will enjoy the second half, so you can drop it. I don't think it's your style of anime.
