Hi, I'm Leon and I've been watching anime since the early 80's till now. I've grown to watch any type and genre of anime out there whether from sci-fi, harem, comedy, mecha to slice-of-life types. I'm not much of a critic myself but I do tend to explain facts and other POV clearly before making out reviews or recommendations to most of my friends. A general anime fanatic is kind of hard and mostly ostracized due to being biased on various topics and opinions or sometimes labeled as "know-it-all" but I don't mind it much as long as you enjoy what you watch and respect other opinions and views in a calm and moderate manner. In other words "It's all about PREFERENCES. ^__^

I rarely read manga because its hard to come by here in my country for original ones and they cost a lot therefore I'm usually stuck with online scanlations or borrowing from friends who has lots of them. If you have a suitable manga recommendation, please feel free to share some for me. :)

Please feel free to chat with me here in the Comment box. I'm very much welcome for suggestions, anime recommendations or a friendly chat, don't worry because I don't bite or have rabies LOL. Either in Filipino or English for communication are fine for me but please no RANDOM FRIEND REQUESTS unless you are from my circle of netizens in online forums I'm a member at or I get to know you more here.^__^

T__T To-ho-ho. Due to unfortunate events in my REAL LIFE, I'm not gonna be much ONLINE lately due to my work and other damn events almost reaching catastrophic levels. Although, I would still be occasionally online to check e-mails, MAL and other forums I'm in, please do bear with this inconvenience as I try to adjust my internet life once again ^_^. Please do not hesitate to drop me a comment once in a while for it shall be replied as soon as possible.

Rest in peace, my weeb brother. Even though I don't know you personally and we both live on different continents, after reading some of your reviews, I have checked your profile to found out who was that man writing them. sadly, I see in your profile that some hard things show up in your life, I feel sorry for you. The saddest thing is that you haven't logged in to Mal for 9 years now. Maybe you even died and you never wouldn't be able to see this comment. After all these years in this community, you must have many things to share and talk about, but I probably will never have a chance to talk with you. So, I just hope that even if you aren't here with us now, everything's out there in the real world is ok for you.

I don't know why I write this, but I just feel kinda sad when I'm looking at all those dead profiles. So, if you will ever return here, enjoy and be happy. Respect for 30 years of being a weeb.

FALC, as the name says, is a MAL club for Filipino anime lovers – pure or half – and for everyone who’s interested to know more about the Filipino culture.
