The OVA takes place a few years after the Children last appearance in anime so they are more well developed. If you read the manga then you are happy to notice that even the PANDRA children has joined the Children at their school which mean, Yuri/Feather/Phantom Daughter is around too.
The story line for this OVA might be meh but the production team went to great length to make it clear in this OVA of the canon pairing of Kaoru and Minamoto so I'm a happy camper about that. I've been rooting for them even when Kaoru acted like an old man and sneaked around to see the girls pantsu. I approved.
The art and animation haven't differed much from the first season. They still wear unusual villain clothes and shit like that. I found it rather funny actually since the series looks like it was targeted for the younger children/teen but the manga has that "mature" tag to it. The irony.
Aya Hirano is still the seiyuu for Kaoru so obviously she does a good job at it. For the first time I though Yuuichi Nakamura sounds mighty sexy. I guess the plot kinda acquired Minamoto to have a sexy voice. I'm definitely going to remember him now, along with Tomokazu Sugita and Jun Fukuyama. The OP and ED still have that quality to it that will only remind you of the series without even have to second guess. I like the BGM during Minamoto and Hyoubu encounter before the real fight unfortunately I have no idea who sang it or what is the title of that song. It was pretty cool.
You can probably deduced of the character that I like the most (Kaoru) to my least favorite character (Yuri/Feather/Phantom Daughter) so I am not going to repeat myself here.
All and all, I like this OVA. It wasn't spectacular but it is something that will probably lead to second season of this series. I'll look forward to that. Let's make it official that I am now is gay for Kaoru as well

As expected, there is no in depth story or character development.
The OVA in a nutshell: Touma and Torako spending their after school at a cake cafe and trying out all the type of cakes on display.
There are some funny moments, thanks to Torako antics. I also discovered that Touma has gay feelings towards the innocent Torako ^o^
Hyakko OVA is bundled with the fifth volume of the manga. It featured the same seiyuu as the TV series and I'm happy to report that the quality of the animation too remained the same. The ED theme is sweet, maybe to compliment the cakes that have been consumed?
I kind of disappointed with the outcome of this OVA but better than nothing, I guess.
Trivia: The most abused line in this OVA is Sacher Torte! read more

This review however is for the special episode before the full season is released.
As the tittle suggested, Letter Bee is about delivering letter/mail/package. Letter Bee is equivalent to your modern day postmen. Bee is the company where Lag, the protagonist works at.
He is accompany by Niche and Steak. Anyway, many refers Niche as Lag's guardian Dingo, whatever that is.
Light and Blue Night Fantasy tells the tale of Lag delivering an important package to Elena, a former Letter Bee. They are to make a journey to Silencio. He is to bring a veteran as a guide for this delivery. That's where Darwin steps in. Lag doesn't know this but Darwin was once Elena's Dingo and the real package for Elena is Darwin himself. Ralgo keeps this a secret from Lag for he knows if Darwin finds out he'll abandon the trip.
Letter Bee is a hazardous occupation. You might get attacked by Gaichuu during delivery hence why Lag carries a gun. The gun is called Shindan and is used to fire Heart when Gaichuu attacked. Shindan's ammunition is something that is called Spirit Amber. Lag's spirit amber is his red stone eye.
What is a Gaichuu you asked? They are bugs but with size of a monsters ^^"
Btw, Dingo is just a name given to the guardian. They pretty much protects the Bee from any harm. Niche for example, can hardens her hair and used it as a weapon against Gaichuu. Steak is usable too for he found their opponent weak spot. So guardian Dingo are not really human. They come in many forms, shapes and sizes. The relationship between a Dingo and a Letter Bee runs deep. It is as if they are partner for life.
I have no complains when it comes to the characters. The voice of each character suits them perfectly, so are the character designs. I personally thinks that Lag's voice is super cute and makes him appears more adorable and wot not.
No complains on the animation either. It is very pretty and smooth. I can feel that the production house puts a lot of effort with this episode. I appreciate that and hope the quality will stay consistent through out the season.
If there's one thing I do not like about Letter Bee, it is the way the Gaichuu met their death. It just wasn't dramatic enough imo. Other than that, I'm sure the full season of Letter Bee is going to be an enjoyable ride.

Meet Ultimo the 'Good' of Karakuri Douji, one of the first ultimate robot that was made by Dunstan. This old fucktard also made Vice the "Evil". The reason he created these robots are because he wants to see who is the strongest: Good or Evil. Fascinating idea, don't you think?
Ultimo is a collaboration manga between Stan Lee (yes, the Stan Lee from Marvel Comics) and Takei Hiroyuki (the same mangaka that did Shaman King). Stan Lee is the author and Takei is responsible for the art. I must say that it is a brilliant combination. I love the story so far and I thought it's original. I also like how the robots look like. They are so effing adorable. Although at first I find it hard to believe that Ultimo or Pardone are males. I'm not complaining, just wanna say that I was amused =D
The Karakuri Douji needs a master so that they can learn the good and evil of things. Once they couldn't learn anything else from their master, their contract/vow/whatever will be terminated which mean they can kill their former master and go look for a new one. Of course, that's what Evil Karakuri Douji would do.
The story really gets interesting when they introduced the six Karakuri Douji of good. Also known as the "six perfections". Let me list the names of the Douji that has been introduced so far: Ultimo the "good", Regula the "moral" and Pardone the "patience". They have also introduced the masters for the six perfections. One in particular (besides Agari Yamoto) has caught my eyes. He is Murayama Musashi. His Douji is unknown at the moment.
Yamato is the master for Ultimo. At this point in time Jealous the "envy" doesn't have a master yet because he just killed the old fuck Irumi. Too bad Yamato is too slow to make Jealous as one of his. Just think of the good that will do... I lol'd at Vice's master. He is called K (urgh why the fuck K?!) and has this stupid look on his face. Truth of the matter is, Vice is the one with the order and what not. He is just using K. Behold the powah of Evil!!! XD
If the "Good" has six perfection, then the "Evil" has six sins. So far that have been introduced are Jealous the Envy (Shitto no Jealous) and Edile the Glutton (Boushoku no Edile). It hasn't been explained in details but Jealous is after Lune (Yamato's bestfriend) to be his master while Edile's master is a 6 year old kid with a foul mouth. It was an interesting mix of characters for both sides.
Interestingly when Ultimo fights, you can clearly see that he's not really on the "good" side of things. I love the twist. read more

First lemme explain what is the 'living-stone'. Living stone is the soul stone of a human being, which weight approximately 30 grams according to Professor Duncan who did an experiment to determine the weight of human soul.
This manga tells a story of two guys, Shozo Sakurai and Amano. Their job is to hunt and prevent people from their unplanned/unnatural death or otherwise to recover the "living-stone". To make sure that the next person will not suffers the same fate as the person who is about to die, because "unexpected death" will damage a human soul, they have to ensure that the living stone will not be in pieces. In other words, their job is to "save" the livingstone, preserving its proper shape and "kill" the body that's left behind in this world.
Besides that, they also have to clean the stain where "unexpected death" occurred and collect the pieces of livingstone. This is because the place where those death happened, if not cleaned, will carry negative energy that will lead to other unplanned accidents.
Sakurai is the compassionate person between the two. He will strive his best to save the victim. The irony is he always ends up doing the killing part which takes quite a toll on himself. Sakurai has the power to see the memory of the soul once he has the soul stone in his hand. It was a pain and most often than not, a gruesome experience.
Amano is the polar opporsite of Sakurai because he has no soul to begin with. He has no memories or feelings either which usually gets him into trouble. He has a stone installed inside of him that attracts the living stone. Amano lives solely to do his job and has the power to see the stains. He is also kinda immortal.
Amano and Sakurai provide a comedic relief once in a while with their antics that makes me enjoy this manga. Amano said some of the funniest lines with Sakurai delivering the punch lines. Definitely not going to put this one on hold :3 read more

Fire candy is some kind of drug that is used by kids in the future. Some of these kids were abandon because they were 'half' being; human that was produce by genetically combining the human and animal together. These kids started to form rollerblade teams and will challenge each other just for the fun of it. The challenge will include all sorts of fighting between the two team members. As half, they usually 'snap' and lose control and their instinct to fight becomes animalistic. They used the fire candy as some sort of escape route from their every day life troubles. As their source of fire candy getting scarce, these kids, lead by one maniac leader named Ryoki decided to challenge the man responsible the fire candy contribution. Hardship and the lost of lives ensued.
It really goes to show that drug is definitely source of misery.
The story gripped me hard. It was intense. I effing love it.
Now if only they could finished it... read more

At first it was quite confusing since I was used to read from right to left. It was not until the fourth pages that I realized that you are supposed to read it as usual, not like a manga from Japan.
Anyway, it is about three young kids turns warriors in a war or carnage. They might look innocent but each has strange and dark past that constituted the savageness of their nature.
I really enjoy this manga and would recommend it to anyone who enjoys Claymore/Berserk. I have no qualm to give it full mark because I love it that much. read more

This is also one of the rarest manga where I can't find any annoying or unlikeable characters. Kudos. read more
