i should've mentioned this in my last post. i picked up a yuri this season. sasameki koto. it starts out slow, but picks up. just saw ep 6 and there are some funny AND original scenes in it. plus, it keeps a real feeling to it, so it doesn't get too wacky at times.
Yes, the anime is an abomination. Waaah. I had such high hopes for it. But they're really cutting out too many things. I was thinking of trying out the blacksmith one. What's letter bee about?
ah ya, i was checking which and what to watch next in the neon series and the movies that you're talking about are from an "alternate version". i'm guessing you wouldn't have to watch the first series, but that's your call.
idk what i was thinking early this morning before i went to bed. back during aaerionero, shirayuki was still in the zp so it was possible to use the technique. her soul itself has been destroyed this time so rukia probably won't be able to use the tech.
speaking of red garden, last month i was on tt and i came across a batch torrent that was re-uploaded so people would start dling it again. i checked it out on mal and it looked pretty good so i have the torrent sitting on my desktop. i don't remember asking you for a yuri show or you telling me about it, but imma watch it whenever now.
just finished neon genesis. it's great, but too much annoyances dragged my score down to a 7. remember how i said that other crap anime "kare kano something" felt like one giant flashback? the same thing happens in neon. at first the flashback scenes appear rarely, but little by little they start to take over until the entire episodes become a recap. does that make sense? why torture the fans by making them sit through that? when the story blossomed, i couldn't wait to see what would happened next. i ended up skipping around through the last two episodes because i couldn't take hearing the same things over and over again. yeesh, it's like a "thing" that older animes loved to do.
that's all i'll shed about the series, but i will say that it deserves a watch. it's got a promising story if you pay attention. it was kinda hard for me because the file i downloaded had horrible subtitle settings. whoever was responsible for the timing did a really bad job. they also decided to add subtitles for people talking in the background, so sometimes you'd get 2-3 different sentences from different people at the same time. half of the screen would be covered in text.
the BEST part of the anime was the ending though! xD
gintama did a parody of it in an episode you haven't seen yet. when i recognized the scene, i had to search for the ep on youtube and watch it to see how similar it was. fortunately for me, it was the first thing that popped up. goes to show how popular that scene was. stuff like this further proves how awesome gintama is.
now.......... watch shall i start next... i'll save the neon movies for a little later. cowboy bebop movie is still waiting on me.. oh, i know!
