One of the reasons why I postpone JoJo over an again is that Shounen so totally is not my genre, it's a chore because I have to finish 3 first. I've only watched the 26 eps of 1+2 so far. Maybe I'll like it, tried to watch the first few eps of Season 3 and found it mid. # A paraody of a genre I haven't seen much from, and which is one of my most disliked genres is no fun. I already suffered watching Chromatite High for UEL. The humor simply is not for me, I'm too old I guess.

Thank you, I lost my cool and filled in movies and shorts into Platinum to finish it today or tomorrow. I had originally planned more two cour series including Ergo Proxy. But of course nobody stops me from watching it outside AWC. And yes, Ergo Proxy is the last entry I'm missing from what I would call the big 5 mystery-dystopia-cyberpunk-scif-fies: Serial Experiments Lain, Texhnolyze, Ergo Proxy, Shinsekai yori, Wolf's Rain. I recommend Mardock Scramble, which is similar to those 5 but a little more on the Ghost in the Shell, Gunnm and Armitage III side - strong cyborg heroine with dark past and killer instinct.

I'll submit AWC really soon, maybe I'm the first to turn in this year? That would be cool :)

I guess? Honestly elitism is far more about an attitude rather than liking certain shows.

Indeed. My favorite anime show of all time.

I honestly don't mind the gags at all and characters acting like buffoons, it's kind of the charm for Gintama at least for me. I'm not turning my brain off to enjoy it, I just genuinely enjoy Gintama and rather early off in the series.

iv'e been meaning to watch 3-gatsu, i'm watching it on netflix after i clear my schedule, i'm putting off reading any manga till i get a new phone since my brother lost mine, you seem to be a fan of both, so, should i watch or read monster? i love the art on the monster manga so i'm leaning towards that but idk
