Sort of the same as the previous four, in that I'd be hard pressed to name which story happened in which season but I'll be damned if basically all of them aren't relaxing and heartwarming regardless. Though Roku did start off with a couple of stories that kind of highlighted just how much better life has gotten for Natsume and how he is nowadays actually able to trust people bit by bit and even ask for help unprompted which would've been pretty much unthinkable in the first couple or so seasons. The quiet development feels so very good.

They also have the two drinking youkai who radiate the same energy as Nukku and Mokku, making both Go and Roku absolute masterpieces of seasons. Can't think of any kind of drop-off that'd turn anyone who liked the previous seasons away, unless you really want to know about the overarching things concerning Reiko which don't seem likely to be concluded anytime soon.

Hello.

We do not know each other in the slightest, but I happen to enjoy Nukku and Mokku of Kemono no Souja Erin fame, and, on a whim, googled the boys. This led me to a 3-year old Reddit thread discussing Erin where you, with this MAL link featured, liked them amidst people who considered them annoying. As all of my friends who have watched Erin also consider them the worst part of the series, I wished to extend a voice of support and encouragement. We are few in number, but people who think they brought something good into the series do exist.

This being said, good tastes overall, as well. Shared favorites aside, always interesting to see, for instance, Akumetsu featured. While it wasn't quite my cup of tea in the end, could appreciate its unapologetically over-the-top (and somewhat ridiculously executed) approach to rooting out corruption. Not the most practical option, no matter how you look at it, but was highly satisfying to see nevertheless.

My apologies if a complete rando popping out of nowhere like this weirds you out. Felt like commenting on a whim.

Oh of course, I learned that fact over this past summer. I used to believe that in order to enjoy the show completely you need to watch the entire thing. But if I'm watching something and it feels like a choir to watch then why waste my time? If I keep going and it doesn’t get any better then I just wasted my time. And now that I've seen a considerably good amount of well-done anime, so now finding good anime is like sifting through a mountain of shit for me. Everyone has their particle taste or opinion and I deeply respect that but not everyone anime is good. But another thing though is when a show starts out pretty shitty but improves later on or has certain parts that are pretty cool but is it worth it? Idk, I guess that’s up to the viewer. I guess this is just something that happens when you mature as a viewer, right?

Alright then sounds like my kind of manga. I'll start downloading it on my tablet and start reading it. But I'm still trying to catch up on Space Brothers. And I love I but I keep taking long pauses from it. And I'm reading Neuromancer and Watchmen. There's too many good books to read.

Oh hell yea I'm kinda coming out of pause period from anime. I'm trying to get ready for the fall season for a couple shows but I'm at the point where I'm not really enjoying anime or what I've seen so far. I've got other stuff that has to take higher priority right now. But even before that, I feel like I'm not attracted to it anymore. I guess that is just me just getting bored and looking for something new. I mean, I've been burning anime into my head for the past two years. There's more to life than just tv shows and shit. Actually, Its kinda funny, when I just started out I was thinking, "This shit isn't gonna rub off on me" and yet here I am and I feel like I'm so different from other people in my area.

I wanted to also step up my manga game but I just procrastinate too much. Actually, I was thinking about reading Yotsuba to! How entertaining is it as a manga slice of life? Could it be comparable to something like Usagi Drop?

With School Days, I guess I just wanted to be a rebel. I get it, I've watched the show too. The purpose of the show is so that it can be hated by the anime community. Its a turd but to me it's a golden turd. To elaborate, I just have a real soft spot for anime shows that touch me emotionally and School Days drove me to point where I wanted to break some or jump out of a window. I can't say that about a lot of shows or books. Idk, It's just special, you know ;)
