Both of these series have filled me with a desire to explore the world. I love finding out about each new layer of the Abyss, and all the rules and dangers that come with it. I also love seeing each new country shown by Kino or Shizu.

Both of these series deal with people that normal society wouldn't care if they disappeared. They also both have to fight for their own survival.

Both anime take place at a school in which the main character group can challenge others to battles. Angel Beats limits the combat to only against Kanade, and BakaTest has it against all the other classes, but both the characters from the SSS and class 2-f will make you laugh as they go throughout their many plans.

Class 2-F and 3-E are not expected to do well at all, yet they have their sights on over taking the Class A jerks. Sure their reasons and methods differ, but in both you have a solid group of characters plotting (militaristically) to take down the higher classes.

These both take place at a school where the main male protagonist is unlike any other, Saito being a familiar and Akihisa being the Probate. The main difference between the two characters is that Saito becomes smarter, where Aki deserves the title "Idiot".

The "Main" female protagonist is a magic user, but also is known as a problem child by their classmates. She thinks of the Male Protagonist as a slave until she starts to have feelings for him. At that point her attitude shifts a little, but she still has issues with the other girls in his Harem Both Louise and Claire use whips

Both series are Rom-coms where most of the possible love interests are not human. In one it's Cuthulu monsters, the other is Mermaids. In both, they cast keeps growing, adding more characters with their wacky traits and personalities. They both use what I call "compounding humor" which means the minuscule details that occur earlier will either be brought up or foreshadow an event that will happen in a few minutes or episodes. Also, the main guy is more forced to be in the situation that he is and often makes note that it is not preferable.

Time Travel? Changing the Past? Both of these got it. Plus a whole deal with the psychological effect. Also, each MC has a smart person that figures out that something is up and tries to help. I don't want to spoil either of these series, so just watch it

...then you might like Trinity Seven add

When given the two choices, one being death and the other being destruction, the MC choses a third, unthought of, option. The MC then begins to learn (and wanting to take short cuts) about how to use their power, and its clear that they will have to battle evil soon. These have a similar story, and are worth checking out

...then you might like Quanzhi Gaoshou add

Games. OP MC that wins everything. The MC also gets accusations about cheating/hate because they are too good.

If you liked Nanatsu no Taizai add

...then you might like Quanzhi Gaoshou add

the MC team is overpowered, and often takes their time or doesn't really go serious for most opponents. The main difference is that Quan Zhi Goa SHou is in a game, and Nanatsu no Taizai is not, but the action of both is very entertaining

...then you might like Boku no Hero Academia add

HEROS ARE REAL. also, MC that punches. other MC that has explosions. As well as a whole part about the realistic part of how Heroism would be part of society and making sure that the heros can make a living

If you liked Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso add

...then you might like Kimi no Na wa. add

Fabulous OST first of all, but these are deserving of their high ratings. Both have a story that is very strong and interesting to follow, and by rewatching these you can see new things that you hadn't the first time. Both story's are incredibly well told with twists and turns, but the entire thing is covered in foreshadowing. Along with beautiful art style, I am really glad that they both receive credit for all of the amazing attributes of these anime

Unexpected twists are good in making these shows have more emotional effect. Plus the characters are well developed

How to start a season 2??? These both do it wonderfully. In just the first episodes, the series ideas and background (as well as basic idea of what happened in season 1) are explained in a unique fashion that makes it entertaining for the returning viewer and informational enough of the new one I recommend watching season 1 of each first, but check them out

Once of the best parts of these series is that in the end everything turns out alright, even when it was not because of a plan by the main characters. Both of the comedies will give you at least a few good laughs.

Both series are romantic comedies. The characters have similar traits, even though the characters are not just copy/paste. For example in Renai Boukun, Yuzu loving Akane is like how Cthuko loves Nyaruko. But Yuzu's more timid nature falls under Hasuta's personality. Anyways, both series are filled with references that parody other series to Ghostbusters and Men in Black. check them out

Both shows are mechas, and ones that non-mecha fans would enjoy. In Code Geass you have a mysterious power as well as interesting tactics, Gurren Laggen has unlikely wins through awesome scenes. Check both out

Imagine if you will, a world where Tatsuya Shiba (who now has emotions and is lazy) became a teacher. That would basically be this show as Glenn can cancel out magic, use high powered spells, and knows physical combat skills. Plus the needless part that they both take place at a magic high school gives it a familiar setting

Although Konosuba tried to stay away from love and couples in the show, both have a MC with a group of girls with interesting qualities to say the least. The humor is amusing and it's a comedy worth checking out

Corrupt Military? MC with some ability? and a female protagonist the MC has feelings for? those three checks are there, and so if you happened to enjoy one of these the other may be an enjoyable watch for you.

Both are sad, with parts that will make all decent human beings cry... Angel beats isn't as focused on music, where only in the OP and with GDM, but still. Heartwarming and sad parts. Watch it, just watch both

Student gets power of the king from a girl. Joins terrorists. On a fundamental level these two have similar concepts, even when the story is different. There is development through the main character, especially when they realize about the people they've killed.

Stuck in another world? An over used genre, sure, but both of these are extremely well made. The main protagonist is intelligent and lucky, so most things end up ok. Both No Game No Life and Konosuba are hilarious. They include a God character, and the main character treats them as an equal or in a casual manner at least.
