About my scoring system:
I rate my anime abnormally high. As a matter of fact, I don't think I rate anything nowadays below a 7, so if it's below 7 it must be godawful.
10: Obviously good and a personal favorite. Check out at all costs.
9: I interchange 9s and 10s a lot so they are personal favorites and must-watches as well.
8: In all likelihood still a personal favorite, but leans closer to being average.
7: Mediocre at best.
6 or below: well, I already discussed what THAT means...
I think this comes from the fact that even if a series is godawful I can still enjoy it, and really I can enjoy most series immensely. So yeah, I had to configure my rating system in terms of recommending series to other people, rather than to myself. After all, it does no good to assign a score for oneself. So it's really based on "should other people watch it or not".
About my reviews:
I don't believe in writing huge, overblown reviews. Why talk about the series in detail when all you really need to know is whether you need to watch it or not? I prefer to let the series speak for itself.
I will accept all friend requests. I welcome comments, questions, and discussions. I like looking at what my friends are watching, so I'll probably stalk you in that respect ^^
About the list:
If an entry has no started/completed dates, it either means I watched it so long ago that I totally forgot when I watched it, or that I was just lazy and didn't fill it in.

70 members in a few days. I think that the Slice of Life Club is off to quite a good start. I was honestly a bit concerned that the club might not do so well (just from being a worry wort at times), so seeing it doing well for the beginning is quite a happy thing. I would like to thank all of the members who joined so far and double thank all of the members who have posted or invited friends to help the club start out. I appreciate it a lot and look forward to seeing this club grow.
Now for the more important stuff. Slice of Life Club is doing character claims for characters from any series from the Slice of Life genre. If you haven't claimed a character yet and would like to, you can do so here. I have the idea in the back of my head to allow people to claim Slice of Life anime series and couples in the near future as well. If I get positive feedback about that idea I'll be sure to open up a poll for everyone to leave their input very soon. Secondly, since the genre has hundreds (perhaps even thousands) of characters to pick from, we're doing a nomination thread to pick the characters that will be used for our member cards. If you would like to nominate your favorite character and help the club out a bit, you can do so here.

Oh I see. I liked Spice and Wolf Season 2 just as much as season 1 although I've yet to read the light novels. It's great stuff though.
