Cheers and I hope you enjoy Fate/Zero. Even though the Fate/Stay Night VN is the first and considered a classic, I still enjoyed Fate/Zero more.

alright, cool. Hopefully you enjoy Fate/Zero.
Chaos;Head and Fate/Stay Night both suffer from weak anime adaptations of otherwise pretty good visual novels, both of which I have played and compared them to the awful anime adaptations. I think Chaos;Head is too long to be worth reading the VN for, but if you're into VNs, F/SN would be worth reading among other great visual novels.

Ah, about that. People say you need to play the VN before watching F/Z. Truth is, you really don't. It is a prequel for a reason -_-.

I see you like Urobuchi to. He wrote the LN of F/Z(Which the anime was based off of) AND the script for the second season.

Also, if you plan on trying any other of TYPE-MOON's(Creators of Fate and lots of other great stuff), I'll go ahead and tell you in advance the Tsukihime anime sucks.....so much it does not exist.....go read the manga instead.

As to why Fate/Stay Night became so iconic, that is due to the Visual Novel, not the anime adaptation which tries to mix all three routes together in a poorly constructed manner. The VN set the standard in where VN's became more popular it and was incredibly well done in my opinion.

Just a note about Fate/Stay Night: the VN spawned something so iconic, not that dreadful anime adaptation.
No hate or anything, but the visual novel is fuller, better written, and contains the original story, Unlimited Blade Works, and a final route 'Heaven's Feel' to complete the story.

Try Fate/Zero, it's a MUCH anime compared to Fate/Stay Night. The difference is practically night and day.

About your Fate/Stay Night review. You see, FSN is not highly praised for the crappy anime adaption. It is praised for its great visual novel.

You see, Studio DEEN is really good at butching great visual novels. Look at FSN& Umineko for example.

I suggest you try out Fate/Zero, the prequel to FSN. It is one of the reasons as to why Fate is awesome. It is also a faithful adaption, unlike FSN's anime adaption.

So, just forget the FSN anime exists. Most of us do sicne it was so bad.

Naa, just curious. I don't know anyone who watches shows with their wifes/husbands, so you're the first I know lol.

Sweet "kotoura-san" review,chico.

Don't listen to the guy below me, do your review the way you wanted, not how he wants it.

You really need to write more stuff in your reviews. They look very empty.

Well, I use to drop stuff before I had MAL but I plan to rewatch them since for some reason my policy is to never drop Anime ever! There are a few on my on hold list that I can very well drop but that's no fun! I don't really suffer much to be honest so it's really no problem to continue a show I consider bad.
It’s time to ditch the text file.
