It's a very well balanced review and the praise and criticisms are specific and accurate, which is probably why it's stayed at the top of the page for so long

I don't usually pay much heed to reviews, and more often than not don't even read them. However, while I am for the most part enjoying the Index series, and I'm very fond of Misaka - and clones, my fondness comes more from the Railgun spin off (which I saw first) and I do have two specific issues with the series. One is the lack of a coherent antagonist plot on the magic side, and the other is in this paragraph from your review "The real problem is that the makers of the anime desperately try to make Touma, the main character, look badass when in fact, he’s not. And for the sake of doing this, they pretty much confine most of the other characters to the sidelines. This becomes very apparent during the latter half of the show, when pretty much every problem ends up being solved when Touma punches the antagonist in the face." +1 to that :)

Read your review of "Toaru Majutsu no Index" and really liked it. Thought that I would write one now then i finished the show, but you pretty much put word for everything i thougt about it so i will leave it at that! :)
