Yeah, uni projects are pretty rough. Most of mine are due in a month or so, so I've been having a lot of fun procrastinating by watching anime, haha

It's probably for the best you don't contribute much, because yeah, some people on there are crazy. I've started to learn how to avoid them, at least, so that's good.

How's your photoshop coming?

Weirdly enough, I swear I have more time to watch when I am in Uni, so long as there's not any huge projects or it's not finals week...

But, yeah, I've been good. Started getting active on the forums, though they can be weird sometimes.

That's fair. I will admit that I have ended up really liking those other kinds of shounen ai, but I totally understand why you would want some realism out of it. As for me, well... it's not the same thing (since it's not as directly personal as your experiences), but as a history major, I tend to over-value whether or not historical anime are accurate or not... ^^'

Ohh, that'd be so cool to go to Japan! I haven't gone yet, and probably won't for a while due to money issues. But I'd totally love to go there one day.

Ahh, that makes a lot of sense. It's understandable that you would want something more realistic, especially when it deals with something so personal to you. I'd probably be in the same boat if I were you, too. But alas, I am a straight female, so I don't have a lot of personal experience with that kind of thing ^^'

Doukyousei is a fantastic anime. Maybe we can do a simulwatch sometime. Say, do you have a Discord?

Eheh yeah, I've been studying Japanese at my university. It's been suuuper fun and I've learned a lot. It makes some things make so much more sense when they can't be translated into English very well. For example, did you know "Kuroshitsuji" is a pun? "Kuro" means Black, and "Shitsuji" means butler. "Hitsuji" means sheep, so it's one letter away from meaning "Black Sheep." But you don't get any of that from the English title "Black Butler" lol

I'm not super picky on my shounen ai, so maybe that's why I'm a bit more relaxed on the others. ^^' I might even be more lenient than I should, but such is life.

Oh, and speaking of Doukyousei, did you know I made an AMV of it? Right here. It's not amazing, but still, I'm pretty proud of it.

That's so cool! I looked it up on Amazon Japan, and once I have more money, I might order the sequel manga off there. Reading them would be great practice for my Japanese lol
