I try to listen to Folk Metal, I wouldn't say I have a lot of songs in that genre, but at the same time I'm pretty picky with music XD.
Thanks for joining the club and yeah not many clubs do this but I like to get to know my potential new members and hopefully you'll consider participate in our club features and will get to know each other more ^.^.

Greetings KarasumaShirou I recently gave you a invitation to a seasonal club.
I tend to like to start a conversation with everyone I invite instead of just giving you a random invite.
*If the invite doesn't go through just message me about it*
Folk Metal huh? So you probably like Eluveitie then right?

What makes Shokugeki no Souma so special? What is the vibe of that anime?

Hm, maybe they think it's alike because of the powers, the academy and the students? Might not even be the plot itself...

See, Gintama feels to me like the simpsons, you already stated it has a bunch of episodes... over 300 if you maybe count all the seasons together... yes, it might be hilarious, but on the other hand, what are they doing in so many episodes, aren't they going to run out of good ideas and have many many fillers? I can give you tons of examples where the producers just started feeding the Fanbase with fillers or made it into a dull kids show for brainless little toddlers... Good examples are Pokemon, but there's also fillers in Anime's that are more targeted to high schoolers and teenager like maid sama... and then we have the dull kid shows like "Heidi"... to understand the plot you just have to watch a few episodes inbetween ^^"

So my fear is that Animes and Shows like that just strech their stories and waste my time... I hate watching Anime in Dub,
if its american tv shows like for example "The Big Bang Theory" or trash like that, I just leave it in the background and do other stuff whilst watching that, but since I hate watching Anime in Dub and can't speak Japanese (yet) I can't do that and have to concentrate on the screen in order to understand the story even a little...
This is like a nemesis xD a limbo... and now that I think about it, it makes it even more interesting because I never examined my watching habits so thoroughly at 5am with not much sleep in sight...

Sorry for spamming you with so much stuff to read... gee xD

Rokudenashi Majutsu - I see, that makes sense! I will definitely give it a go = )

Quan Zhi Gao Shou - No wait, there is Chinese Anime too? And it is labeled as "chinese" Anime and the Anime community doesn't have anything against it? How much they trigger when it's about american anime xD I just think about the case "neo yokio" ... everyone was going bonkers over whether or not it was an anime, and here you have the chinese going along to release legit anime... amazing

Keppeki Danshi! Aoyama-kun - It's like yuri on ice then? Without the gayness xDD

Garo Vanishing Line - action and fantasy ... I can only watch this in combination with comedy or else I get bored >,<

Haha, I don't think in my situation right now, I will be overflown with anime, mostly I watch the trailers and read the descriptions before anything, so I can talk a bit about in the world of Anime xD you get to know all kinds of shows like that, without even watching them, which is nice because if people talk about them you have a clue of what it is about and choose the best from the best, the diamonds of Anime ^.^ the more suggestions, the more to watch, the more to choose, the more interest, the better.
It's like picking food from a plate that you especially like and laying the stuff that isn't necessarily bad but just kinda average aside.

Phew, so much about my 5am... well now it is 5:30 am ... reply...
I am very sorry about the long text, I don't know why I'm writing like a waterfall when I'm utterly sleepy...
duh.. xD

Anyways, I still got so many unanswered comments but that has to wait, I need to catch up on some sleep.
And sorry again for the blabbering, it's not my intention, I hope you're a fast reader...
well you do watch anime so I guess you're trained in reading fast with all the subs.

Anyways now! Have a good day, will be waiting for your reply.
It is truly interesting to discuss anime = )
404404Deleted404 Jan 20, 2018 3:16 AM
Nice to meet you too = )

Well, things could be better, but I'm slowly resolving and untangling everything, thank you = )
About your suggestions = )

Re:Creators: Heard a lot about it, definitely going to watch it!
Shokugeki no Souma San no Sara: hmmm , I'm not into cooking anime too much xD
Boku no Hero Academia Second Season: I haven't watched the first season yet, but heard that it is kinda similar to kill la kill, is that true?
Kobayashi-san Chi no Maiddragon: Watched it, loved it! *_* it got my two favourite things, maids and dragons xD
Little Witch Academia: Currently watching it = ) I wanted to save the best for last, I loved the two first movies and got exited when they announced the series!
Youjo Senki: Heard a lot of good things about it, definitely going to watch it!
Gintama: I heard it's funny... but it's so much to watch xD like 700 episodes or more?
Rokudenashi Majutsu Koushi to Kinki Kyouten: Magic always sounds nice = )
Shingeki no Bahamut: Virgin Soul: Not my cup of tea, but a nice back up plan
Busou Shoujo Machiavellianism: I already had it in PTW = ) it seems ok
Sagrada Reset: I loved Charlotte! And seems similar, definitely going to watch = )
Quan Zhi Gao Shou: Not my cup of tea, but it does have a good score, so I will give it a try
Berserk Second Season: Berserk is absolutely not my cup of tea = )
Kakegurui: Sounds interesting, will also give it a try ^.^
Youkoso Jitsuryoku Shijou Shugi no Kyoushitsu e: That sounds a lot like Assassination classroom without Koro-sensei xD
Katsugeki Touken Ranbu: I was never interested in Samurai ^^"
Isekai Shokudou: Hm , fantasy restaurant... why not ^^
Princess Principal: A different world order and history trail? I've always loved these! It's like asking yourself the question "what if" and seeing the result ^.^
Keppeki Danshi! Aoyama-kun: I don't like soccer or sports anime ^^"
Shoukoku no Altair: Ancient world anime is also not that interesting to me
Mahoutsukai no Yome: This seems to be a great anime! Definitely going to watch
Black Clover: Another "not my cup of tea" ^^'
Kekkai Sensen & Beyond: I will consider watching the first season and see how I like it
Juuni Taisen: Despite the average rating, it does seem like something I'd watch = )
Dies Irae: Same as Juuni Traisen... despite the bad rating, would give it a go
Houseki no Kuni: Definitely going to watch!!! I love futuristic anime ^.^
Kujira no Kora wa Saijou ni Utau: Seems like a nice anime, will give it a go!
Code: Realize - Sousei no Himegimi: Didn't really get me hooked to watch it, but if I stumble across it again, I might watch
Garo Vanishing Line: Same as Code:Realize ^^

That's a lot of Anime you suggested and there is definitely things I will be watching now, thanks to you!
Thank you so much in putting that effort to write me all these, it's very nice of you = )

I don't, I was up to date with both manga. Now, that I have less time, I'm a bit behind but that's it. I've read Fairy Tail since its beginning and I picked up One Piece at some point from where the anime was, water 7 probably. If you prefer manga, then why not read them instead of watching so many anime which you only find ok? I never feel like an anime ruins a manga, it's mostly for publicity in the end. Even when talking about the same series, the manga and the anime can be completely different and thus should be viewed as two separate things imo.

I'm at a point where I'm not really searching for new anime, most anime I watch are airings. Older ones are already in my ptw. I occasionally still add something interesting though. And anime isn't a time filler in my eyes. I either watch it or I do something else. I've never watched an anime to just watch an anime.
Wow! Good job! On both catching up and your actual job lol. Well, try to be an active anime reviewer then and gain some recognition. That'd make anime your job.

With Berserk I plan to read the manga and I'm already read Fairy Tail and One Piece which are far superior than the anime in quality. Galilei Donna looked nice but I had a feeling that I wouldn't like it, the setting was kinda stupid too. I didn't like the jokes in Nanbaka which isn't necessarily a problem when it's well executed, but they are not. The pacing was just weird but I like its colorfulness and the idea of prison escape, it just wasn't interesting enough. I felt like Prince of Stride was going nowhere and that it'd just be a fan service anime for fujoshi. I still love madhouse, the animation was nice and all but I just didn't bother to risk my time watching that.

That's why I asked you though. I have an opinion on every anime I watch, even the ones which I dropped and only watched one episode of. There are just so many other anime that you could probably find one with the good qualities of the dropped ones minus the parts that you don't like.
Ziafung May 15, 2017 12:41 PM
It's ok haha

Yeah, sorry xD

Yes! The Boruto movie was fantastic, I agree. Watching Boruto though is like committing to your next big series and I'm not sure if I have it in me right now xD

I've though about it a bit since everybody seems to love this season and it's probably because my opinion has shifted a bit compared to the last seasons. There are usually 2 new anime that I'm into, like really interested in which I give a score of usually 8+, but this season just seems so mediocre to me.
What's so surprising about my drop list?
Yeah, no need to worry about that. I can deal with it. Actually, shorter comments mean shorter responses which mean that they take less time for me to write which additionally means that I can respond faster.

Take care ^^

Hey...
it's been a while not chatting with you here..
how r u?
Ziafung Apr 23, 2017 8:02 AM
I did not complete shippuuden at all and have no reason to, I've read the manga and am content with it. No, I won't watch the Boruto anime. Shippuuden was alright, the animation is off most of the time, they kept the anime simple most of the time 'cause money. I get it, but it's just not as enjoyable then, especially because the manga is really well done. Naruto filler is really bad though haha. I still like it more than how they do things in One Piece, which is stretching the content extremely to fill in as much time as possible. Fillers can be skipped, that's why you could simply wish to not see them and skip them, as you do. In One Piece though, you'll have to watch badly paced kinda filler episodes, because the content is actually important... sometimes. Unless you skip through the episode, it's harder to deal with this kind of filler. And yes, Toei partially does the episode recap thing because it fills time, but it's also good for people who have missed the previous episode or are just casual watchers. You have to consider that it's still a TV series. But now that digital television becomes more and more of a thing, stuff like this won't be necessary anymore.

Well, yeah, if I had to I would too. That why I make sure to watch a movie when I definitely have the time for it. I too have to watch Kimi no Na wa still. I just don't know when to pick it up.

That's easy, a movie can be 2 hours long and specials can be 2 minutes long. Both still count as a single episode, at least that's how I think it works. I mean the duration time in also a part of the anime details, so they probably use this. And this is what I also meant with OVAs, specials and stuff. I know that you don't watch the TV parts only xD
I have that site book marked lol I love it.
Ah~ I do something similar. If there's something in the ptw that I think I'll watch in the close future, I'll put it in my watching list, it's far easier to find than in my on hold xD The on hold list is basically a graveyard, I nearly touch those anime ever again xD It's similar to my drop list with the difference that the on holds might still be picked up one day while the drops a definitely dead and not zombies coming back to life.
Lol I don't have a problem with that but I understand what you're saying. They way I cope with it is having "serious" anime and "no brainers" anime. One I watch and pay attention to detail, story, plot, animation, skript, etc., the other one is basically only its core, usually the content, which is why good animation isn't needed most of the time in comedy. Basically it's how I view an anime and not its actual content, I can think of any type of anime as a "serious" one, hence the quotation marks. An example would be Kobayashi-san from last season. Sure, the gags are funny, but the way they animated it, the comedic timing, balance of using the other characters in the right timing, the small in between bits, the clever break time transition and so on and so on, were all part of why I loved that anime. If I wouldn't care about those thing, I could just switch to the manga, no? Well, manga also has their charm point, so the experience will be different of course. An example for a non serious anime from also last season would be Demi-chan which is basically Overthinking The Anime. If I'd think to much into stuff that happen there, I'd be convincing myself more and more that what they say in the anime is straight BS. Basically watching it as a simple SoL anime worked best for me. If overthinking makes an anime worse, then why do it. If overthinking an anime makes it better, then it's also usually a good anime.

Also I chose this time to reply because a reasonable amount of episodes have aired which makes it easier to talk about an anime without speculating to much. My conclusion is that this season is complete sh*t xD There have never been so many bad anime in a single season? I think? Not counting sequels as always of course 'cause Hero Academia alone would make this a nice season xD and probably the next one too since it runs for 2 episodes. So far I only have expectations for Rokudenashi, I stand to my statements about this anime though, it looks like a stupid and boring LN adaption filled with fan service and a harem, but it really is not, how misleading. That stupid slutty school uniform... for an elite magic school... *sigh*. Anyways, I liked the first episode but it felt like the twist was missing, the twist that I hoped for that would change the way I'd look at that series ,but it never came... Luckily I also watched the second episode and there it was! The twist! Which they obviously couldn't have put into the first episode. All that magic stuff I mean. Unfortunately that is the only anime that has caught my interest. It seems that people also enjoy Re:Creators and I do too, but I still don't know what to expect from it, since it could be good but also bad right now. The main point I'm watching it is the nice OSTs which puts this in the no brainers section for me. I hope it'll switch up to the serious one though, especially because it runs for two season. I want to be interested but I still am not xD Other than that, Eromanga-sensei seemed like a nice no brainer for me but the loli sexuality is kinda really strong... It only went downwards after the first episode xD Another no brainer would be Renai Boukun which be in the enjoyable bad anime category for me, but right now it's really badly paced they use the joke face too much and all character seem like they have an IQ of 80. It still passes though because it's a not thinkie anime. By the way, in my opinion the most disappointing no brainer for me is Shingeki no Kyojin. It's just so stupid... but they try to keep it in a serious tone, but they also don't but with bad timing. SnK is unfortunately a well made bad anime for me. I don't want to rant to much about it but basically, they drop story hints and never resolve them, at least in the anime. It's like the producers think of the viewers as stupid who forget everything within hours. Similar to Re:Creators, I love the OSTs which are from the same composer. The last mentionable anime for me is Oushitsu Kyoshi. Obviously a no brainer, since it's probably targeted at 12 year-old girls and fujoshi or whatever. I like the main character's humor though, which is making fun of the cast, kinda.
This season is a ship wreck. So many bad anime... even those few I did mention are not even the normal standard for good anime. So sad. But that might be just me, How's your impression?
It’s time to ditch the text file.
