Just read your review of Gushing Over Mahou Shojou. Now that the show is up to 8 episodes, are you finding the plot better than the first three?

Hello! Thank you for expressing interest in my thread and the shoujo demographic as a whole! Here's a list of some shoujo manga you might want to try in no particular order (though given you are interested in male MCs, I may try to list series with those first):

Fairy Cube - my introduction to Kaori Yuki, this dark fantasy with a male main character is beautiful and not afraid to show a disturbing side, which also includes traumatic childhood and story moments. VIZ considers Requiem of a Rose King a recommendation for this, so you might end up liking this!
The Cain Saga - this is considered the work that put Kaori Yuki on the shoujo map (alongside Angel Sanctuary, also has male mc), contains plenty of mystery that you might like. this one also features a male main character.
Wake Up, Sleeping Beauty - this supernatural series featuring a male main character is pretty popular with shoujo manga fans right now, and even has fans outside of that demographic as you can see by the well-received MAL reviews.
Snow White with the Red Hair - this is another fan-favorite to try if you want some heartwarming romance set on the side of a medieval fantasy focusing on herbology/being an apothecary.
Prince Freya - this fantasy manga that shoujo AniTuber Colleen's Manga Recs describes as "the shoujo Game of Thrones" is surprisingly gory and may have taken inspiration for its premise from The Prince and the Pauper of sorts. i dunno, definitely similar to the shoujo fan-favorite Yona of the Dawn for sure.
From Far Away - this and Red River are considered to be high-quality isekai from back in its shoujo days. since you like isekai i think you might be interested in either of them...
Magic Knight Rayearth - ...or MAYBE try one of MY favorite isekai! from the same creators as X.
Full Moon wo Sagashite - this is another one of my favorite manga, this time considered to be very similar to Fruits Basket. not sure how you'd like its sense of humor, but i think you will at least appreciate the drama.
