Synopsis

An ordinary salaryman dies one day and is reborn as Ars Louvent, the son of a noble. Although he isn't talented in magic or swordplay, he does have one skill that no one else possesses: Appraisal. Using this ability, Ars can determine a person's current strength, how much potential they hold, and where their talents rest.

This skill is especially useful in the present situation of the country. The government is corrupt, revolts occur more often than not, and nobles far and wide are strengthening their fortifications in preparation for an all-out war. With this in mind, Ars realizes he too must prepare by gathering talented people.

A persecuted foreigner unparalleled with the sword, a slave with an unknown talent for magic, and a timid boy with an unquenchable thirst for knowledge—such talents lend Ars their support as he aims to create the most powerful territory.

The main character is from another world but doesn't seem smart about things in the home world. The main character is an adult office worker who is supposed to be quite smart. It's ridiculous that the knowledge of the modern world is not used in another world, in fact the main character is too dependent on his followers and their interpretation skills. If modern knowledge is applied in another world by the main character, it will be easier to win the battle in this comic story. Knowledge of making bombs, gunpowder, firearms. Author writes half the time gatcha slave simulator and and other half as boring noble slice of life. This is not even worth reading as trashy isekai time waster.

Characters are forced to be flat due to isekai concept. There isn't any room for growth. MC can only see the militaristic aptitude of every character. If MC finds an S tier character it stays S tier. There isn't room for brilliant jesters or brilliant engineers. Only S tier cannon fodder.

Translator tried to lift the work up but it came out average. The world building lacks necessary complexity to pull whole thing up.
