Sure. So what did you end up dropping or how many shows? :)

Just drop the anime you don't like, in my case I didn't do it before. I watched all anime even the one who bored me to death, the only motivation I used to keep me from dropping these anime, where the fact that "If I continue watching, the story might take sudden change. After many anime seasons and repeating the same mistake, I almost lost my interest in anime, so I tried something different this anime season and only watched the anime I know I will find interesting. instead of checking other anime too, which I may not like because my favored genres aren't there. And now I am finally enjoying anime again, and can keep being passion about it. I hope you find solution to your problem too :)

PS: I am sorry for the rambling, I was just trying to give you some of my experiences and how I conquered it :D
