Cine Libre Umeda announced the final showing of Mahou Shoujo Lyrical Nanoha The MOVIE 1st on April 23rd. The audience are allowed to shout, sing, clap hands, and swing glow sticks at the theater. There has been two similar events held by Nanoha fans but this will be the first official "free-to-shout" showing.

The idea originated from a dojin manga, which described a possible situation of a theater showing the Nanoha movie.

GRINP's manga "I hate Nanoha Movie if it goes like this"

Nanoha fans gathered to realize the situation and Cine Libre Umeda kindly cooperated with them. It's not allowed to make sounds with devices, bring dangerous goods, and destroy the property of the theater.

I would love to do that. If you've never experienced watching an anime movie with the whole theatre full of otaku, you really should, it's so fun.

A theater full of otaku's with glow-in-the-dark objects.
And they're allowed to make noise and shit.

Now, how are you suppose to watch a movie with these conditions?

Also, DVD release dates please. D:

And since when does the audience need the greenlight of a company to shout, clap hands etc
Oh. That's Japan. Yeah. I forget.

Interactive movie...

That would either be fun or annoying as hell depending on how out of hand it got.

Also, I find it weird that they're specifically saying it's forbidden to destroy the theater. WTF Does that mean that at other times it is allowed? XD

It's probably just to prevent camrips. Who wants a recording with otaku screaming all over it. D:

And the DVD won't be out until the end of the year I imagine, it's usually at least six months after the theatrical premiere.

I see, I was already wondering why it was so awfully quiet during the screening of the leaked Haruhi movie..
