'Mononoke: Karakasa' Movie Unveils Additional Cast, Second Trailer, July 26 Premiere
The official website for the Mononoke anime movie revealed three additional cast and a second teaser trailer on Thursday. The movie, titled Mononoke: Karakasa, will open in Japanese theaters on July 26.Cast
Asa: Tomoyo Kurosawa (Skip to Loafer)
Kame: Aoi Yuuki (Kusuriya no Hitorigoto)
Utayama: Mami Koyama (Meitantei Conan)
Kenji Nakamura (Kuuchuu Buranko) is returning to direct the movie at EOTA. Yuuichi Takahashi (Vivy: Fluorite Eye's Song) is designing the characters, and Taku Iwasaki (Bungou Stray Dogs) is composing the music.
Mononoke, a spin-off of the 2006 anthology Ayakashi: Japanese Classic Horror, aired in 12 episodes on Fuji TV's noitaminA programming block in Summer 2007.
