According to the official website, the second season of K-ON! was announced. The announcement was first made at a live event held in Yokohama Arena.

According to the handbill distributed at Comiket 77, Tokai Tsukemono will release "Mugi-chan no Takuan (pickled radish)" mimicking Tsumugi's eyebrow.

Already, she is far too original a character to be in this series.

That "scan" of new character seems to be a fake from 2chan according to this. There were no credible source for it.

If you pay attention to it, one of the image resembles this with heavy editing.

NEW CHARACTER, OMG, Sorry ._. I can't translate it, but I just know her weight is 7.24, becoming the most taller in the group, she paly the ...bass horn (Sorry, I don't know how to said ''tuba'' in english).

It's not a question of being overly serious or anything like that. I also liked the first season in some aspects, and it was indeed cute. But sometimes, the lack of a real plot is something that compromises the enjoyment, and in my point of view, what made K-ON very boring at some parts.
