Manga 'Kami nomi zo Shiru Sekai' Ending [Update 4/12]

Great writing has died,and its a shame that TWGOK will be a forgotten memory among the mainstream anime and manga community.

I shall hope for the mainstream success of the new manga from Wakaki-sensei.

What if they are actually making a new sequel to that ending and renaming it to something else, and the story will be flipped. The girls are the one conquering Keima and they all live happily ever after. If only this was true T_T, sorry I'm still in denial mode, I just can't accept that it is all over...

I went through nothing but all the 200+ chapters I missed out on TWGOK for the last 2 days since stopping reading manga for some years now. Looking back on it, I WOULD HAVE NEVER EXPECTED CHIHIRO to be Keima's first love lol. I guess it was to be expected since he cried and was guilty of hurting her feelings while trying to flush out the remaining goddess. I wanted Dokurou though but I guess it just isn't meant to be. Also that letter to Tenri in the end , :X(Tenri never chose to pursue Keima though so this wasn't likely to happen as well because she's just happy watching him from afar). Still Chihiro is ok for me though.

I've had some interest Nikaido due to my teacher fetish,also she's pretty hot lol, for a long time now thinking maybe she'll be one of Keima's conquests but I DID NOT EXPECT THIS. Holy fuck. In just a short time, Dokurou just became <33333 That moment when I realized Nikaido was Dokurou for 10 long years keeping an eye on Keima, just damn. That farewell between the two of them was just T_T:

That just really hit home for me. 10 years hiding it from Keima, that Onii-chan line. Damn. Too much feels. I'm also really happy for Elsie finding a home and she can happily sweep to her heart's content. It's a shame there wasn't real much attention given to her and only until she revealed she was the ultimate Weiss. But I'm still happy she got her happy ending.

I'm pretty much sure everyone is divided into the series' ending. With so many girls and pairings, It's not easy to please everyone. Still, this started as some of the most interesting anime out there especially with all the parodies and gaming otaku culture there. The Gundam parody about the dispute of heroines in games was just too much.The Goddess Arc was just awesome btw. Ending's rushed but I'm a bit satisfied. Shit just got too real at the latter part.Still there were some unanswered questions but at least Keima now has time to play games, or go out with Chihiro. It could have been worse lol, that's just the thing about endings. It's hard to come to terms with providing closure. Oh well doesn't take away how it was a great read(for me at least).

Does anybody else feel upset about Elsie becoming Keima's sister? Because I personally feel like it's a let down. One of the few things I liked about Elsie was how she worked to fit in. She actually had to try hard to learn about earth, and to get along with other people, and I found it sweet how much effort she put in to make friends and gain a family, something we often take for granted due to how easy it is for us. Elsie overcoming the fact that she wasn't blood-related to Keima yet becoming part of his family, and earning her friends despite being a devil, was what made me accept her as a character. If she just becomes Keima's sister, it will feel like all that effort was pointless, and a part of her character has died. It will be as if she had never put any work into being accepted into Keima's family, making her lose some of her appeal. I want Elsie to stay as a sister-like figure for Keima, but not actually become his sister. Like I said, it will kind of ruin Elsie's appeal for me.

Also, ChihiroXKeima? Not my personal favourite/choice, but I can see them being a good match. It would be better than just one of the goddesses being chosen. If that had happened, then...I don't know, it would have just been wrong, and things would have felt unbalanced, and the romance lopsided. Considering Chihiro actually liked Keima from the beginning, and she isn't part of the harem, I can understand her being the final romantic choice. But I think that an extra 'alternative ending' chapter should be done, where Keima accomplishes the harem ending (with or without Chihiro). Because honestly, that is the ending most people secretly want (or not so secretly in my case :3).

i anticipated the ending since the end of the goddesses arc and i might be the only person here who ships KeimaxChihiro. I'm happy with the ending. On a side note i read the manga 3 days before the release of the final chapter from the beginning.

Well the KeimaxChihiro ending wasn't that bad. I was expecting someone else though, like Tenri. Chihiro in the anime though is quite cute much so if she had longer hair(in my opinion ^^). If you look back at the Mai High Festival, Keima clearly had some feelings for her so I think it's a good end overall :D

Can't believe it just ended like that, this is truly one of the masterpiece that have i've been reading for the past 6 years since the start of serialization.. I'm not a big fan of chihiroxkeima but nevertheless that's what the author has chosen.

The manga had a great start, a superb follow but the epicness gradually died off after the megami arc..

10/10 for being able to keep up the high quality for the past 6 years!

Well,its sad its ending (and its ending one month later since i started reading this manga,man...),well i hope atleast a harem end,couse most of the fans would be happy with that then with Keima choseing one heroine.And i hope they finish the story of TWGOK in the anime too.Well time will ancer every thing.But we all agree that this was an AWSOME manga.

Sad to hear this. This has been a favorite of mine for three years now but I had a feeling it was ending soon.Hopefully it will be a harem ending or at least haqua.

Haqua over her anyday. Hell, Haqua is the BEST, one of the most lovable tsunderes ever, Kanon is also supreme with her yandere characteristic, lastly, Tenri... Gotta love the holy trinity there
