Second Season of Seitokai no Ichizon Due in October

According to the cover note on Dragon Magazine September issue, the second season of Seitokai no Ichizon was announced to be streamed on Niconico Live from October. The online streaming will precede the TV airing.

Hope that the other characters that have not been shown, would be shown in this one =3= I don't want them to just mention Ringo and Asuka by name, ore perhaps blur them in flashbacks............

My only biggest complaint is definitely the change in artstyle. Just by looking at that preview poster art, i could already see that the characters will look obnoxiously similiar (compare at their body face structure... no difference whatsoever). Hopefully they at least DREW in the random goofy faces from Kurimu, because those are always adorable.

So if anyone remembers Miname-ke season 1 and saw the changes in season 2...then brace yourself for a similar impact. Then pray we'll get over it soon and have a happy good anime fun time. See you all Oct 13.

Much less of an issue for something like that, I'd think. Suzumiya Haruhi is one of the most distinctive and best known roles ever. It would take a lot more than a change in agency to get Haruhi (or any other major role) recast.

Yea that's what I'm thinking as well.

Despite the 'scandals', fans wouldn't accept a new seiyuu for Haruhi. A season 3 would probably jump start her career again :P. I'd love to see it happen since I love/miss her voice.

Can't be helped. They changed agencies I believe which is why they're being replaced. Not sure why that's grounds for replacing a seiyuu. Contracts maybe?

A bit OT, but I'm curious if Suzumiya Haruhi will run into these issues as well since Hirano Aya also changed agencies. I hope that wont be the case, but since she's still playing Lucy in Fairy Tail I'm hoping it wont be a problem.

Just watched the first season and would love to watch the second season.

They did great job at the first season, especially the last episode.
The girls was nice, drawn beautifully, and have unique character. And the male lead has some good and interesting character too. I hope he get some development both in character and his "harem route" in the next season. LOL
My only fear is that the harem joke would be overused and eventually get boring, also I wonder what story would they serve cause I don't know if Student Council has some interesting "hidden" plot to begin with (we all know they was just chit-chatting and did some random things at the Student Council Room most of episodes at the first season.. Though it surprised me they manage to be interesting with just that).

If there is a lesson I got from this series, that was to never underestimate an anime, you just will never know how interesting it can be. LOL
