Director Kamiyama Kenji To Remake Cyborg 009

At a live event streamed on Niconico Live, Kamiyama Kenji's new anime was announced to be a remake of Cyborg 009 titled "009 RE:CYBORG". It will be premiered in the autumn 2012.

Despite being in 3D it looks really cool.

And the fact that Kamiyama Kenji is directing automatically makes it on my to watch list. The man is a genius. :3

I missed out on the tv series when it was on here in the US, so Ihope this movie turns out well.

Seems interesting. Best part was the music. But the animation was intensely rigid for this day and age.

You should watch Skull Man first. It's a prequel to Cyborg 009, and considering this is a remake, it should also work well.

I love the trailer! CG needs a little work, but whatever. It's not horrible.
