I was reading it, but I haven't seen a new chapter for months, so this news is more of a "meh" for me more than anything.

Not knowing what this novel was, I got confused about the title of this topic 0.o

Well, it's not like I was reading the manga or the novels...
Though people do like to exaggerate about the anime. I've seen worse shit with higher scores, like TLR, since we're on the topic...

I got addicted to the OP, still play it : )
First episode wasn't horrible, that came later.

I kind of liked it, but won't miss it (because the anime pretty much ruined it for me). If it gives Yabuki more time for Darkness I won't mind.

^^Yabuki probably is the best mangaka artist I seen in Shueisha...

There are better ecchi/romcom series out there and this topic has made me want to start To Love Ru Darkness.

Nothing of value was lost, and without this a few artists will have a lot of value to gain.

Darkness is amazing, and probably the best ecchi manga I have read. It just goes so far while keeping a good story so it doesn't just feel like smut either. And the artwork is just beautiful, probably the best I've seen

As soon as I heard about this on Twitter I almost cried. People bash this series quite a bit. It isn't intensely flashy or H, true, but I found it very enjoyable. I own three of the manga books (1, 2, and a "cat can" special), and the second light novel. I enjoyed the anime very much, in a way its randomness reminded me of the styling of KoreZon, for example. There's plenty of H and seriousness elsewhere in the anime/manga world. I do regret the rather hurried close of the anime though.

I suppose it makes sense that the manga artist is focusing on To-LOVEru Darkness, since To-LOVEru has been around for a long time.

I'm curious how it will end up.

From what I've heard the anime sucked, so I don't feel any remorse over this.
Unless the manga is far more superior towards the anime, then I might.

That's pretty weird since as far as I remember, the manga was selling really well. Only in its first week volume one sold over 91,000 copies if I remember correctly.

I sometimes wonder why they even made the anime addaption.

Because the novels are incredibly popular?

its ecchi no one read it for the plot >< anyone else who says differently cant admit that they fap to it.

One less ecchi manga in the world makes me happy.
