I only realized the similarity with around chapter 22 of BM. There is a mastermind with an initial (K and L). There are genius on both sides of the fighting line attacking with intellect and sleuth. Bloody Monday has more action and blood than Death Note and DN has more brains. There is mystery regarding both the protagonist and antagonist and their plans. Death is brought up on both and justice.

both these manga's have a theme showing the dark side of the world and both have gore in them. so if you like one of them you most likely like the other one

They are both strategical and both contain secrets that need to be discovered. Both the main protagonists are intelligent, in their own fields.

A bunch of kids saving the world, do note that Bloody Monday is shōnen unlike 20th CB.

Both manga deal with combat against a disease. The differences are that the disease in Emerging has already broken out at the start of the manga, and develops naturally, whereas the disease in Bloody Monday is engineered. Bloody Monday deals with much more government conspiracy than Emerging.

Both feature an elite counter-terrorist group and anti-crime unit in law enforcement and intelligence; with computer hacking being just as powerful as any other weapon in cyberwarfare. Ghost in the Shell is more near-future sci-fi , while Bloody Monday and its sequels is more modern, being set in the present with current weaponry and technology. Bloody Monday, as it's name implies; has a lot more blood, deaths, and occasional gore, while Ghost in the Shell has more android and cyborg innards being shot up, or exploded. Both have their fair share of surprises and twists, but Bloody Monday is almost based solely on betrayals and  read more

The protagonist chases the antagonist. Has Mystery and Thriller elements.

Both have genius protagonists which are really smart and good with computers. The plots are kind of psychological with some police and government involved. The art is also similar. The difference is that mc in Billion Dogs is not exactly as nice as the mc in Bloody Monday. He's more evil and he doesn't use his talent for the greater good...

In these manga, the protagonists have to do investigation work under pressure to combat a contagious infection.

Fear! Deception! Mystery! Are you into psychological anime? These are just the ones for you. Ousama game is about the japanese game: Ousama Game. Everyone must do what the ousama(king) tells them to. But what if the Ousama's failure penalty is death? A virus that kills so many people the night it's released that night is named "the Christmas Massacre". Only two clues as to what it is and how to stop it: the mysterious woman, Maya and the code "Bloody Monday". Fujimaru Takagi, a second year high schooler is asked to decode a file connected to this case. When all goes wrong.

Both manga has similar theme, hacking. If you prefer more serious story, read Bloody Monday. If you prefer story with real life reference, read Ousama-tachi no Viking.

This manga is extremely similar to bloody monday, im surprised not many people noticed. I guess both are pretty obscure. Not only do both of these manga have a similar style of the early 2000s. Both series are about hackers. And both series revolve around basicly a deadly or some kind of mutant virus. Both protagonists are hunted by organizations and they have very similar personalities also trying to protect their family/friends. While they are both very creative and go head to head with professional assassins or organizations. The writing and dialogue even the slang is almost identical, i almost felt i was reading a spin off of the other series etc

Both lead characters tend to outwit the masterminds and obstacles thrown upon them

Both will guarantee you constant tension and non-stop thrilling action. Bloody Monday tells the story of a genius high school hacker who fights (with help from his friends and his father's special police force) against a cult organization from unleashing a bio-weapon. Until Death Do Us Part tells the story of a girl who can very accurately estimate her own future, who will seek help from a blind swordsman (and a secret police organization) to escape from men who wants her power to predict the future.

Both have the mysterious air that makes you want more. They both contain considerable amount of blood. They both have special key words: "Bloody Monday" for well Bloody Monday, and "Blade Children" for Spiral.

They both have similar aspects in the plot, such as the virus in Bloody Monday and the virus near the end of the of Black Cat. Both protgists sometimes have split pupls and there nature seems to change. I think that they are both quite similar as they are both trying to stop people from spreeding viruses (near the end of Black Cat) and has a very complex plot. I think that is you like one you will like the other.

Both have to do with hurting others through the use of technology and a computer whiz who tries to fix things. Good reads

Both have elements of terrorism and hacking. Other than that both plots are different

Started with deadly crisis and phenomenon, these two manga shares very similar atmosphere. Both feels intense and a bit mature than the usual shonen series. However, they're still shonen series, and is shown by the similarity of having an MC with full of spirit. The major difference is that Alive has a strong supernatural theme in it and the fights are more physical, whereas in Bloody Monday the fights are more mind battles.

Both manga involved secret organisation, male lead with supreme ability (hacking in BM and the 'Power of king' in GC ). Both of the male lead seemed to be a useless high school kid at first glance. And both mangas give off exciting feelings as you continue further. (I would recommend to watch the anime version of guilty crown too.) Give it a go and you'll see what I mean.
