| I'm going to finish it and I will hope for some more encouraging things, but this season is currently very low on my anime totem pole. |
| I won't drop it but I'll drop the rating by 1 every time they repeat it from episode 4 onwards. It's currently on 5 (which is already very low for my standarts) and I will continue with this until it's on 2 (it doesn't deserve a School-Days-1). I have to say, I lol'd a little when episode 5 ended like this again. I'm so happy that the second season of Haruhi sucks so much, it feels good to have something to rub into the annoying fanboys' faces. ^^ |

It pains me to say this but ever since the average OP and ED, all the episodes have been average/below average. The only reason I am willing to continue watching is the fact that I still believe that they can turn this around (being Kyoani...also I read the novels so i know for a fact that it would get interesting) Aside from Kyoani dragging on with endless eight (ironic I guess...) everything else like the artwork and etc have been good~ So I guess I wouldn't want to masturbate with sandpaper but dropping the rating seems fair enough to me. I am just disappointed that they didn't move on with the episodes quickly enough to make room for the really good ones that should shortly follow. |

| I've never been a huge fan of Haruhi, but I don't intend to drop this because from the ending it looks like "The Disappearance" should be a part of this season. Although it is pretty painful to see the same scenes repeated over and over and over again, but if not for any other reason, after watching it repeat so many times you really begin to feel what Nagato feels. I'll stick with it though since I've seen way worse. I really just hope the stories after Endless Eight are worth all of it. |
| I'm rating the entire season a 1. I'll keep watching, but only because I'm interested in seeing how much fail is yet to come. Even if Disappearance turns out to be good, I'm going to keep my score a 1 no matter what happens. Think of the DVD releases. You'll be paying for 6x or more of the same damn content, and the price will be high. F*ck that. This show is shit. The season, AS A WHOLE, is shit. Even if some future content within the season is new and exciting... The season as a whole is still shit. |

| I haven't dropped it, but I HAVE put it on hold. It's on hold until Disappearance starts. If it does, I'll watch that, then I'll watch the episodes I missed retroactively. If it doesn't, I'm not going to bother watching any of it. |

Stating my mind: I'm seriously curious as to how this community will fall if/when Endless Eight ends and moves onto the next piece of material. If it comes back to Haruhi, if it shuns Haruhi, etc. I'm simply curious, because I'm an ignorant guy who really doesn't feel he has the right to argue about the quality of something he's watching freely. If I paid for a $20 boxset of only this, I'd be angry, but that's not the case. *Steps back from these threads to spectate where this mayhem ends up going.* |

| I really wish people would stop blaming KyoAni for what Kadokawa is making them do. Also, apparently this was posted on 2ch. "Umm… I guess it’s okay now? Endless Eight was organized to be produced as 6 episodes. Kadokawa’s back sponsor got furious and by the time it was too late, the producer had been fired. There was huge confusion over whether they were going to skip the produced 4th and 5th episodes and skip to airing the 6th. By the way, the 6 ep organization was Kadokawa’s instructions. The fired producer was a scape goat to appease the angry back sponsors. Kadokawa’s ultimate goal was to blow smoke over the fans by having 12 episodes that would consist of E8, Sigh, and a new Mikuru’s adventure. And the disappearance images they had pulled from would remain exactly that… (Unsure) Currently Kadokawa does not feel like animating Disappearance The purpose of this new production is simple to pull money from the fans (Extreme paraphrase)" |

| I think what's bumping the score up is the Harutards- you know, the people who give every show, its related content, and its spin-offs a 10 even when they're watching a pile of crap. It's bandwagoning. Haruhi isn't getting anything more than a 8 from me, and that's assuming that the last few episodes will be pure awesome. |

| Geez, some of you people are overreacting TO THE EXTREME!!!!1 This is a really good season of anime so far, so forget Haruhi for now and come back to it later, when Endless Eight ends. When you archive it, take the first episode of E8 and the concluding episode, and DELETE everything inbetween. Don't drop the damn series. I know this blows right now, but just watch something else till the story moves on. |
