| Along with Bebop, I have some faith in it, especially if they get Zac, it isn't like Light isn't a teen heart throb already, I mean really think about it. Light will be played by a pretty boy and probably be in high school, just like the manga Misa will be a ditzy blond just like in the manga L won't be Japanese just like in the manga I think it might fit better as an American movie than Japanese and I love the two Japanese movies(and L Changed the WorLd was good) |

| Being an amateur movie critic before getting into anime, I'm actually fairly excited. WB is a pretty good studio. Honestly, I HOPE they take some liberties to make the movie work. Just please oh please... DON'T FUCKING OVERACT!!!!! I absolutely HATED the japanese live action because of that. |
| You know the well of imagination is dry in Hollywood if they have to resort to adaptations of foreign fictions. And after DBE, we don't need Death Note royally fucked up the ass. (But I hope they at least have better Ryuk CGI.) |

| The Japanese films are a sign of how Death Note translated into live action. It worked for them and in general doesn't seem like a difficult job really, compared to most shounen series focusing on action. The US version, I'm wary but as long as they choose the right casting and leave things the way it is, I'll look forward to it. The odds of that is, well low IMO. |
