As far as I know, Madhouse, Kyoto Animation, SHAFT, BONES, Production I.G, and Satelight have their own 3D CGI departments. Toei, asreed. Hal Film Maker, Brains Base, Nomad, AIC Spirits outsource the 3D CGI to Gonzo, Sanjigen, Studio Galapagos etc. |
| Sunrise also have their own CGI studio I believe. They use it for minor things in 00 and SEED like ships while they use it full out in their MS Igloo CGI series. But hopefully this news means Gonzo has realized the way they abuse CGI in their shows is not well liked by many fans and rethink their animation strategies. |

| they put CGI on new level after their first Blue Submarine OVA. it's a shame that company which was a leader of CGI usage is going to sell it out... though their recent works wasn't so descent when it comes to 3D. |

| Good thing they aired Blassreiter already, otherwise the project might get cancelled since most of the scenes required aid from their 3D CGI department. It is such a pity to see GONZO fall into this economic position. I liked many of their animes. I guess there won't be any new ones coming from them anymore.. |
