| That Gankutsuou segment was so trippy and surreal... it seems the Count's past is even more convoluted and trepidatious than I even suspected. Loved the scene with Haydee as well. The soundtrack was beautiful as always. |

| So Gankutsou conjoined with Edmond Dantes somehow when he was out in space, huh? Loved finally learning about Haydee. Franz being able to get access to those classified files was totally sweet! That Lucien Debra guy is still a sleaze, but a good friend.(Unlike their parents) I hate all the politicians and their wives except for Debray. All the young people should hightail it out of there like Maximilian did with Valentine. I'm surprised they turned out such good people with terrible parents like that. Pretty sure Albert got shot. I wonder if the count would ever start to care for him. |

| Now the political setup of this world presented in gankutsuo is getting a little bit clearer as we come to know of haidees past as well as the strike done by alberts father ten years ago. The information gathering on 'gankutsou' was also really interesting but I would have appreciated it if they had explained that searching machine a bit more. The count has been imprisoned for over 1000 years so it seems. |

| The Count's pulling all the stops in sabotaging the big three. The Count immediately weaseled his way out of that seemingly inescapable situation by using Villefort's own estranged family against him. His persistence on carrying out his own justice cost him his job and dignity as a feared and revered prosecutor and family man. After milking Mondego out of all his money and ruining his chances of running for presidency, he convinced Danglars to invest in antimatter stocks in anticipation for the general's desperate expedition shifting the market against the banker's wishes in due time. What an unusual way to Google stuff in the deep web~ The Parisian MILF Hunter has another purpose after all. Haidee wanted to openly despise Albert for being a part of the family she and the Count swore vengeance to but he's too kind of a man to do that to. Benedetto got enraged by her false composure and accosted her much to the dismay of their master though. Villefort tried to assassinate him after losing everything but Albert went in for the save at the last second so I hope that this somehow changes his opinion towards the boy at least a little bit. |

| Watched that episode in 720p. YES, this is how I used to watch it on TV. I want the rest of the show that way. I feel better watching it now. I wasn't really able to follow up with the magnificent revenge plot because of all the implicit mentions of affairs and a couple scenes. When I watched it on TV first it was a clean version. A very clean version. I prefer the clean version. |

| I lol'd when that secret government AI database literally exploded in their faces and they were yelling dramatically. It's very impressive how the show keeps building and building and slowly improving at the same time. Every episode is better than the previous one, mixing multiple storylines in a cohesive whole. These cliffhangers are also making sure I keep watching lol imeli said: There is absolutely NO WAY the Count is a bad dude. I've been thinking this more and more lately. While his actions seem sinister most of the time, it looks like the show is now slowly building toward a "the count is not bad but every one else is" storyline. |

| Another masterpiece. This show is so unique and unlike anything else. The framing, shot composition, and overall cinematographer never ceases to impress; as well as the OST. I am very captivated. I cannot wait to watch the next episode. |
