| *has never seen FMA before* Well, that was nice. It seems I'm the only who thinks the animation isn't extremely amazing, it's alright. Opening animation was actually nice though, good song too. I've seen other FMA openings though, and they were better. I have the basic concept down but I'd like to see more. Wtf was wrong with Mr.Muscles, haha. |

| Nice episode, the animation is amazing and far supierior to the first. I actually like the OP song which is unusual because I uaually don't like the OP/ED. I haven't read the manga, but I did see the original series so I don't know the differances between FMA and FMA2/ manga The only thing that I didn't like, was Mustang's new voice, I liked whoever played him the first time better. And who subbed it? It wasn't on fansubwiki.  |

| They did a great job with music and sound once again! I wasn't expecting it to be this silly though, I figured the manga would have been more serious. Way too much cheese in this for my tastes. Even the action scenes seemed to have some cheese in them. Hearing Edward's Japanese voice actor has just reminded me of how inferior these voice actors are to their English counterparts haha. Don't get me wrong though, the Japanese voice actors are all very fitting, but nowhere near as perfect as the English voice actors. I actually love Ed's Japanese voice actor in other roles: Popo from Kaiba is perfect for her voice...much more fitting than a character like Edward Elric. |

| Fuck yes, FMA is still FMA. Great episode, so awesome to see everyone again (I'm looking at you Hughes). I don't even mind the slight character art change but Mustang's voice...going to need to get used to that. Eclipse just subbed it, another fuck yes. |

Romi does a fantastic job as Ed and likewise, Rie for Al. In a far more concise way of expressing my feelings to the initial comment, LOLWUT? |

Even at it's most serious, there are plenty of visual jokes or gags. |

| Yay! and so the manga devoted anime is out and i'm loving every moment of it =] Roy sounds odd though, i prefer the old VA alot more .. this one just sounds bland compared to the original - no arrogant, pompous feel to it. Will need alot of time getting used to it xD Good OP and ED but i hope it changes every 10ish eps like it did in the original FMA |

So by this logic Lior will be third episode then? *better late than never. slowpoke report in. somebody already mentioned Lior at the last minute of the first ep, so it's a one more case for an idea of a proper adaptation. the first episode itself is for those who've already read manga, cause they showed lots of characters without an introduction, for fans who already know it. Kimblee, Father's face and few shots from Lior... maybe they'll skip Lior chapter, but it doesn't necessary mean they'll add some fillers. yes, after that shitty Soul Eater ending I have to expect a low blow, but I'm still relying on their common sense. |

| awesome to see everyone again, although i wasn't really expecting the use of in medias res. i guess it's because most people are familiar with the story, but they really threw you into it. i most definitely liked it though. |
| I don't understand why ppl say this is suppose to follow the manga better. Where the fuck did the ice alchemist come from? Besides that, I actually loved this episode. And that ice alchemist was pretty badass. Favorite part though, hearing Kimblee talk. |

Once Bones finally admitted to producing a new FMA series after an early leak of information, Bones hinted that it was suppose to follow closer to the original story since they deviated from that course with the First FMA series. I can't see how they couldn't do so now that there is so much more content to follow since the first series ended in 2004. But again we will see... |

| Cool, back when I watched the dubbed first season, I didn't get the chance to see the seiyu work of this anime. They do great! Animation's great too, sorta like Soul Eater's style in a way. Still I don't quite get it... Why are they going through with this anime again? And how far was the 2003 FMA alike from the manga? I ended up with the impression that they had an original ending in the anime after watching the last episode. Yea that sure was a weird ending... I'm still a little confused about even now. I probably won't know until info on the episode length of this anime comes out. |
