You can watch anime as long as you have USB stick with a video files.
Install SMS player on CD, insert disc in PS2, and you can watch anime, but video files must be in avi format.
As for Sailor Moon manga it seems only first 12 chapters have been scanslated by StarryHeaven.

It's not that I didn't like the game, but rather couldn't play it properly.
You see, I have my PS2 for around 5-6 years, and its laser is pretty much weak for any game; it can barely spin CD games for PSOne, you know.
I watched Ar Tonelico OVA though, which was okay, but didn't impress me in entirety.
For now, I only use PS2 for watching animes with SMS player and USB stick.
Most likely I'll have to buy new console...
Oh and, I just noticed that Sailor Moon is among your favorite mangas, as well; I've heard that there's only version with english translation - english names of characters, monster, etc...
Did you read the same version, or some with original names?

Well, even though I played Ar Tonelico: Melody of Elemia for about one hour, I still didn't know how Shurelia looks like beneath her helmet.
Only today, when I was browsing through Sankaku Complex picture gallery have I found this, and few more pictures with unmasked Shurelia.
Btw, you're one of rare people here with whom I have talked and who have Usagi Tsukino as one of their favorite characters.
Maybe it's just me, but I really find it unfair for such well known anime character from such influential metaseries.
