| THIS IS AN ANIME ONLY DISCUSSION POST. DO NOT DISCUSS THE MANGA BEYOND THIS EPISODE. ---------------------------------------- Oo not bad for the OP song. It's actually kinda catchy in a way. Seems okay so far. I find the setting to be pleasant though giving off a serene like atmosphere. Saeki seems like an interesting character as well although at one point in this episode, she was a little brash. OST is decent also and I enjoy the overall atmosphere of this series so far. I'm also curious about the past of the characters. ED song is decent as well. |

| Not a bad start. Characters, ost, art and animation seem all decent. Also a few drama key points in this when it comes to Saeki and Gin. Though I'm interested about their past from the characters and how they met. |
| I think this is going to be one of the more underwatched shows of the season. If they keep developing the relationship between Gintaro and Makoto in interesting ways like it was introduced here, I'll be one happy camper for the duration of this anime. I have to admit though, Makoto crying trying to find Gintaro was a little on the nose. Would've been more effective if she didn't bawl her eyes out Diomdea must like Hisako Kanemoto if they brought her back after Squid Girl |

And then the classmate called her a fraud and I realized - she looks kinda like Kotoura-san, and is even voiced by the same VA. I really liked the overall atmosphere of the show so far, and I'm also a big sucker for Shinto themes. Looks like this will be a great way to wrap up my Sunday nights this autumn. |
| hm, I'm undecided with this one, In terms of atmosphere I was expecting more Mushi-Shi and got more Tamako Market, It's not that I'm completely disappointed it's just that I was expecting something a wee bit less generic, It was an all together enjoyable episode and I'm undecided with what I think about the MC but I think I'll be able to get used to her, expecting some good things with this one still. 6/10 so far. |
| The relationship between Gin and Makoto reminds me of Kobato and Ioryogi a little bit haha. Really like the OP. Same band that did Uchouten Kazoku's ED. Looking forward to more music from them (fhána) Overall it was a pretty nice episode to me. Not too much story background provided, but the animation and OST is alright. |
| This was a nice first episode, I have the feeling that I'm going to like Gintaro throughout these weeks coming, he's an interesting fox, and I would like to know more about his past and what happened to his partner. I don't have an opinion on Saeki, I'll have to watch a couple more episodes to judge that, but this first episode was enjoyable. |

| Finally liked an OP this season. The show seems promising, episode was alright. Though I must admit the design on Gintaro and the other spirits is sort of throwing me off, they don't look 'perfect' like the norm. I think I can deal with that though. Probably won't be as good as Natsume Yuujinchou but fine enough to watch. :) |

| It's not Natsume Yuujinchou (you don't reach the perfection that is Natsume Yuujinchou, you just don't) but what it was was super adorable with a bunch of good characters having good interactions. Definitely one of the best of the season. |

| I know it's called character development, but damn, I wanted to slap Makoto so hard when she yelled at Gintaro like that. But at least she learned to appreciate him and realized she was wrong. Her father seems like a great parent, the way he gently told her how he thought she was in the wrong. It still seems like a nice and relaxing anime though (that bgm), though it never crossed my mind to compare it with Natsume Yuujinchou like a few of the comments mentioned here. If anything, it reminds me a little of Inari, Konkon, Koi Iroha because the mc is female. Well it's airing next season and I can see people comparing this to that. |

| This is going to be the most underrated this season IMHO. Anyway, awesome OST, good OP&ED. Gin is such a badass fox. The MC is a little annoying though, I hope she developes in better. But I'm curious to know about the other guy in the opening and about the Gin's partner who left. |

| I enjoyed some of the melodrama here for a change, this reminded me a lot of Natsume Yuujinchou, but not quite as good. I really enjoyed it none the less though and am looking forward to more. |

Out of the shows i have watched so far both this and Nagi no Asukara had me thoroughly engaged from start to finish. Other shows that i had expectations for haven't really delivered yet, but the season is just beginning and there are a few slow burners in the lineup so lets see how it goes over the next month. Hopefully this and Nagi gets more exposure as time goes on, would hate to see it end up like Eccentric Family. |

Yeah, she finds him and then they find the cat. The end. Interesting setting though. From the OP, I know that there's still a lot more characters to come like her future friends and that cute black haired boy (who I'm assuming is voiced by Kuroko's VA!) |

Gives me more of Kamichu!/Mokke vibe. Not bad. Might become the favorite of the season for me. I don't mind the episodic nature, but the story feels tad rushed. I was like "she reminds me of someone" lol. I hope this is the first and last of her being a brat though. If I were Gin, I would have left and stayed gone but I guess there would be no more episodes if it happened my way :p |
| This anime reminds me of Natsume Yuujinchou, Hotarubi no Mori e, and Kotoura-san. And when i checked the MAL, Makoto has the same seiyuu as Kotoura who coincidentally looks like her ^^ |

| just by watching the first minute of this episode, i was pretty sure this anime is definitely gonna be one of my fav series of this season. It gives me similar vibe as Natsume Yuujinchou, which is great. OP was also pretty good |
