| I can't help but feel the uncanny resemblance to Aum Shinrikyo from this episode. A genius intending to make people feel his torment, the torment of being unable to move and act, and instill it upon many innocent people. His actions are indeed of a child, yet unerringly not. Although, I am kind of upset by the conspiracy-esque setting to this episode, as I was expecting something complicated by linking conspiracies together whatsoever such as in Lain; however, all the nonsense on gods and humans is just a farce to trick people into believing that Londez is an existing figure, but in actuality, a young genius hacker, a con man. 5/5. Ein is a genius. I swear it has an IQ above 200. |

| Great, but very weird episode. I do agree, it was trying Ghost in the Shell where questioning the concept of God and does it really exist? Or was it created by Humans in order to cope to the world's problems? Also Loden is voiced by Chikao Otsuka who passed away a few weeks ago :( RIP Otsuka-san. Hopefully your son Akio-san will be alright. Lol Brain Dream device. It's funny looking back, there's a boom in VR with Oculus Rift, Sony Morpheus and even Microsoft Kinect. It's kinda funny they were able to predict what would be the next big thing in the near future. Still, they have these cool device, but the graphics are still from early PS2/Dreamcast polygons?! :P So Loden was just a fictional person created by some hacker just because he fell in a vegetable state and thought it was unfair on how he was the only one affected and eventually forgotten. Tbh i was kinda sleepy since i was awake since 2AM and i watched this around 11AM :P So seeing almost fell asleep, it happened to me as well, but i tried hard staying awake! Good stuff!! Looks like we only have 3 episodes left! :( Next episode seems another stand alone? or finally related to Spike's past and all? Can't wait to finish this! |

| Well alot of stuff seem to be inspired by this Cowboy Bebop episode. SAO series could be one, more precisely the thing about re-creating a soul, and the concept of Soul in Alicization. Definitly had a different vibe to it. Ein also had some pretty powerfull hacking powers there, when using the Brain Dream device, what a smart and cute dog. |

| great episode. I think it wouldve made more sense though to use the term "internet" instead of "television" when saying we became a slave to pixels/technology etc. Though, this was made in 98. Good old AOL days :P they put that machine on poor Ein's head after he saved Jet lol. Guess it looks like it doesnt effect him the same though. Looks like next episode is finally Ed's background? Are they referring to Ed as a "woman?" :o is she older than she looks? |

| Yet another romantic episode and sad at the same time, which puts us in front of the problems of the world, to our sins and crying respect for all life. The theme dealt with, is related to another animated work, but the answer to the question is not positive because everything has a border, only eternity or the afterlife, is unlimited in its borders (at least I think). Drawings not exceptional as usual, good animations, nice soundtrack and well-tuned to the contexts. |

| Well, Cowboy Bebop got A LOT better for me from episode 17 onwards. Typical, because it's about to end. This episode had a little bit of a sad ending, although the episode was good and I actually enjoyed it. |

| I liked the Lain vibe of this episode as well the background music. The cancellation of the Bounty Hunter was the really sad part for me though, it feels like a premonition for the end of the series. |
